I can't believe that you leave in 15 days![]()

One trick that worked with us is that we bought 2 cases of water from Walmart and bought empty water bottles that have an insulated sleeve over them and a long lanyard attached to it. We filled the bottles with ice and then water and the water stayed cool all day long. We had back packs that we brought water with us and just kept filling the insulated bottles. It saved money (water is expensive in the parks). We also bought rain ponchos at walmart. They were $8 each in the parks and $3 at walmart, just in case. Hopefully you won't need them. We also brought little packets of powdered drink mix to add to water for lunch, Like Propell or Gator Aid to replace electrolytes because of all the sweating.![]()
When you go into MK, make sure you visit the Main Street Bakery.
OMG, the best cinnamon buns I have ever had![]()
Great ideas, especially the water. We have frequently frozen the bottles and then let them thaw during the day. I think we have some of those insulated bottles. I'll have to look for them. My husband is a huge fan of those powder packets. He has diabetes and so we get the ones without added sugar for him but we have used them all summer long. Flavored electrolyte packets will make wonderful sense. We have been collecting rain ponchos so that we have one for everyone and a couple of extras. We also have a bunch of those collapsable (?) umbrellas that I will pack just in case. The reason we have a bunch is because of all the times I forget to pack one!

Fun postcards came to our house yesterday. When the kids stop by on their way to soccer practice, I will give them the cards. I do believe that I am acquainted with the pixies who sent them! They are so cute!
