Karen, is Jellyrolls smoke free?

May I add to your question?

Would a 19 year old be allowed in Jellyrolls with parents?

I believe Jellyrolls, like all common areas, restaurants and clubs at WDW, is smoke-free, although I couldn't find that info spelled out. Someone who has been there recently can confirm, I'm sure.

As for age level, Jellyrolls is 21 and over only. A 19-year-old will not be allowed in, even with parents. Sorry!

Sorry for hijacking, but I signed on this morning to ask a question about Jellyrolls too. My friend is going to be taking me there next month and I've never been. Is it casual dress? Like jeans and stuff? Just curious as I'd rather not pack dressy clothes if I don't have to. ;)

Jellyrolls is definitely casual - I usually go in a t-shirt and jeans.

Have fun!!!

Florida has some type of no smokin ordance which makes all resturants and bars smoke free. For example, the Jazz Club at PI used to be smoking and is now smoke free.

We LOVE Jellyrolls and have been many times. Unless something has changed in the last 6 months or so, it is definately NOT smoke-free. It's always been very smokey when we've been there. However, we put up with it because it's so much fun. That could have changed recently, though . . .

Also, it is very casual and, no, a 19 year old will not be admitted, even with his/her parents.

Jellrolls is a blast!! One of our all-time favorite spots on Disney property!! Be warned, though, you will go in "for an hour or two" and end up staying all night! :p

I love the music and fun at Jellyrolls but (coughing) it was NOT smoke free on our last visit. If it is now I would love to go as I would go back in a minute. I have asthma and it is too much for me to be around much smoke.

The Florida law exempts stand alone bars and smoking rooms in hotels.

Unless Jelly Rolls recently went smoke free on its own volition, it is not smoke free. The smoke gets very thick in there at times.

Best wishes -

What time do they usually start playing and for how long? I can't imagine them playing through the entire night. I'm guessing maybe play an hour or so and then take a break?

To answer all the questions posed at once

1. Not smoke free, but I didn't think it was terribly bad on the nights I went.
2. 21+ only. No exceptions
3. Casual clothes are the norm
4. The first set starts at 8pm. There are 2 pairs of pianists that play a series of 1 hour sets, and then the other pair comes on and plays a 1 hour set. I believe the last set starts at 1, but I could be mistaken on this one.

Wow. Looks like I totally missed this thread, but everyone else did a great job of taking care of everyone's questions :) Eric is becoming quite the Jellyrolls expert :) See ya there in a couple of weeks, Eric (and you too, Barb)! Here's hoping for a Scotty and Ray night :)
