We are at a crossroads, oldest dS 12 and doesn't want to see "baby movies", youngest DD is 8 and still likes the kid movies. Is KJ worthwhile or too babyish or just plain stupid?

I just checked this movie out on www.screenit.com Dan, I don't know how it got a PG rating either...... If THAT is what the movie industry is going to consider as being PG, then I guess my DS11 will be seeing only G movies from now on OR PG or PG13 movies that I personally approve of.

Besides having elements of what *I* would consider to be a PG13 movie, it sounds STUPID. It LOOKS cute in the commercials, though.....very deceiving!

Screenit.com is a wonderful website, by the way. It really goes into detail about every aspect of a movie, as far as drugs, sex, violence, etc goes. I always check out movies there if I haven't seen a particular movie that DSs want to see.

thanks -- I never even thought to question the rating, it's been advertised so much as family film. We will be skipping this one, thanks again for the warning and the link to the article Dan.

I took 2 - 10 year olds to see Kangeroo Jack last weekend and I was not expecting much out of the move... but..

I laughed my head off... the relationship between the 2 main characters is fun to watch.. and that kangeroo has some priceless moments.....

I really enjoyed it,... kids loved it too...
