Kali River Rapids and 1st Trimester

Can you ride the Kalie River Rapids in your 1st trimester...my ob said it wasn't a problem!

If your OB said it was okay, I'd probably go for it. We were there last month when I was between 8 and 9 weeks pregnant and my OB basically said that I could ride anything. However, the only ride that I ended up riding with a warning was the safari.

It's not rough. Don't try Primeval Whirl though. I love it but it's a bang you up kind of ride.

My pregnancy was hard won ( IVF) That being said I still enoyed myself and was careful.....

Kali River rapis is fine
Kilamonjaro safari is fine ( no different than living on a country road) Women ride bumpy tractors while PG!
I did Count Down to Extinction ( your choice)

Magic Kingdom has tons of options

Epcot the only thing I would stay away from is Mission Space, everything else is fine....

Everything is OK but Tower and Rock n roller coaster ( though I did both)


I was within my first month and actually found out I was PG at the POLY.

It is what ever you are comfortable with and remember that bad things can happen even if you do nothing.

baby is pretty safe in there, my infertility doc stated it was like a pea between two pieces of bread and peanut butter...

I was 5 weeks pregnant in Disney World and went on everything. That being said, there was a time that women did not even know they were prego until almost 2 months (we won't go further back than that). I guess it depends on how comfortable you feel with going on the rides and exactly how many weeks along you really are. My OB said that the 1st trimester the baby is so small that it is protected extremely well within the womb and not to worry about it.

I rode it at 18 weeks....no problems. It is a smooth ride with very little true flumes. My only complaint....I GOT SOAKED! (Duh !) I just always seem to forget how soaked I get on that ride everytime!

This post is very timely. I'm newly pregnant and was concerned about some of the rides. I'm glad to know the safari was fine.
