What a refreshing, delicious treat! I cannot imagine Epcot (on a hot day in the future) without having this. We are hooked! Better than a typical snow cone-- they come in Strawberry, Honeydew melon or Tangerine. You can get a Rainbow with all the flavors. So good I had to give this little snack it's own post!!! :D

BTW, these are found in Japan!

My DH will NOT pass the Japan pavillion without having one of these. They are soooo good! A must do for us in Epcot.....Susan

We'll be there end of august and the KG is definitely on my let's try it list. How much are they? What flavors??

Kallison,
I think they were around $2.50 each--I could be wrong. Flavors are listed in my above post. Enjoy one or two for me!

I didn't mention the cherry flavor. Dh insists that it is by far the best.

Had one in late March, cherry pretty good .But while waiting looked behind counter flavoring syrups were obviously made in this country a little disapointing.

This is one thing we have not tried, and we LOVE WS and Japan!

We really appreciate the heads-up. Will try this next time!

My kids tried themfor the first time this past March and really enjoyed them....I'm sure we will try themagain next time...

Thanks for sharing - I could just go a honeydew melon one right this minute.

I think I'll have to try this next time!! We tried the "fried dough thing" at Canada that everyone here raves about, and were not very impressed! Here's hoping this will be better than the "beavertail"! ;) :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We are going soon. Thanks for the tip!!!!!!! We cant wait to try them.

Never leave EPCOT without at least one! My nephew actually buys them two at a time!

Last weekend I was down there, but no more Honeydew flavor. Its been replaced with Kiwi Lime. I asked the CM about it. She said they changed syrup compaines! Still delicious!

So it's like a water ice? If so, just trying to figure what makes them so special! LOL We can get them here year round. :p

I would describe it as a snowcone. The thing that I love about it is we always seem to go by it just when we are at the hottest part of the day and oh...look how much further we have to walk...

Last time I even asked the CM to go very light on the flavoring, I really just wanted the shaved ice. Very refreshing and not as sweet. I think they usually drown the ice in sryup.

Yum! Never had one, but the description seems so refreshing! I've got to try one of these on my next trip!

A snocone is more like sleet, but kaki-gori is smooth as snow!
