Well I'm tired. I got down walking today twice for 30 minutes each and then lifted some weights after that. The whole time I was listening to the Twilight and New Moon soundtracks and reading Eclipse lol :cloud9:
 
How are those soundtracks? I just got an MP3 player and am looking for good music to download. TIA!
 
Well I like it myself. You hear most of the music in New Moon during the movie. Note when I mean the soundtracks I mean the Inspired By ones. They have different artists singing for the movie. I like that sort of music with the occasional score soundtrack :D
 

I'm trying again to lose weight. This time I have a high prize if I lose enough. My mom told me if I lose enough weight that I get to go to Forks Washington where they filmed/filming the Twilight Saga!! :cloud9::eek: I also will get the green dress from The Twilight Saga: New Moon that Bella wears to her birthday party. Oh what away to start off my 21st birthday. Yes ppl I turned 21 on the 22nd of March and now after doing all my pigging out on treats for it I'm now watching my weight, eating right, watcing my calories, and walking. This is so exciting and I can't wait to shed the weight :woohoo:
 
5 pounds is a lot....go to the store and pick up a 5 pound bag of sugar and feel it to get perspective...5 pounds is OFF your body, less pressure on your back, less pressure on your knees...celebrate that okay?

we can only lose it one pound at a time, so let's focus on a general forward motion!

I still have 70 to go...and i remember thinking...wow i have over 100 pounds to lose, OVERWHELMING, but each single pound is like 4 sticks of butter melting off your body...plug away at each pound and they'll add up :thumbsup2

And I definitely agree with solar about going to a store and holding a 5lb bag of sugar. Somebody suggested it to me when I first started losing weight and it feels great to hold that bag and know that you took that weight off your body.

The weather is wonderful here in Iowa and I went on a 3 mile walk with a friend and her boyfriend and it was fun. They stayed at my pace and took breaks when I needed them and had funny talks while walking too :lmao:
 
I had a blister last night on my left foot from walking :guilty: hurt horribly, but I'm better today and raring to walk again XD

Oh and I may have lost another 3 pounds, but I'm not sure as of yet lol :goodvibes

Okay Kailey so more details please...which college? major? favorite type of exercise? easiest exercise to get in? favorite healthy meal/snack? toughest temptation food? You don't need to mention motivation as we all know what that is, but feel free to elaborate...:goodvibes...what is about Twilight that captures you so much?

I did walk some today outside. Little hard since I have a ouchie on my foot.
I go to DMACC (Des Moines Area Community College), Major is in Graphic Design, I like to walk on the tredmill or with a friend outside (I hate walking in circles in a tiny gym area), I love strawberries, Ice Cream is the toughiest thing ever to resist.

Why you ask Twilight, well I feel alot like Bella at times. I can be clumsy, easily distracted, I'd hope ppl would agree I care for others, and one day I know I'll find my Edward Cullen lol :woohoo:

I also like Twilight not just for the romance, but the fantasy and action. I'm a fan of Vampire and Werewolves, fun and scary, def. can't wait for Eclipse. I saw some new pics today and got very excited.:laughing:

I really hope to get the Bella Swan Birthday Dress and anything else my mom will let me get.

I'm very excited about everything and pray I can stick to it. I've been counting calories and today I found out a pizza I could have with low calories :goodvibes but just in cause I got it wrong I'm going to let my roommates eat the rest lol. One day of weakness I hope won't ruin everything :guilty:

Do you like the Twilight books or movies better (so far, of course.) I rented New Moon yesterday and watched it. I'd have to say I prefer the book. But I did see Bella's bd dress - the one you'll be wearing soon! :banana: I saw the ad for the Twilight/Forks documentary, have you seen that? I didn't even realize there was a Forks until I saw your post about your trip there!

And of COURSE you can stick to your new healthy life style. Calories in/calories out...how many calories are you eating each day? I know there are some places that can give you an idea of how much you burn each day, and you can make sure you are below that but not so much that you feel deprived. That for me is when it gets hard...I have great willpower when I'm not hungry! :rotfl: Great job walking the other day! Every bit counts.

Well a low cal pizza is any pizza with a slice that is under 200 calories lol. If I counted right lol.

I love both Twilight Saga Books And Movies each its own for different reasons. I haven't seen the Forks documentary yet, but I've been looking at their website getting any idea of where to go lol. I'm right now only taking in 1200 a day which isn't that bad with all the low cal snaks they have these days. After going to church I'm going to walk the tredmill while I read more Breaking Dawn.
 
Glad to hear you are getting some exercise in. How are you counting your calories? I really like SparkPeople.com. It's a great website that gives you the info Jenn mentioned about finding out how many calories you burned. And, best of all, it's free!

I'm almost at a wonderful 10 pounds less lol :lmao:
I've lost 9 pounds so far!! But due to it being Easter I spoiled myself with some non low calorie food. I ate a bacon cheese burger and fries from A&W. My mom didn't cook this year and they were in a hurry so my dad took me out and got me the food. Its like over 500 Calories!! YIKES!!:scared1:
But I think I'll do ok. I'm going to be going back to it tomorrow and while at school so it'll be ok I think lol. Right now I'm watchig Marry Poppins which I haven't in years!! I'm loving it :goodvibes While watching I finished some homework. My mom is so excited to give my next prize for losing weight of 10 pounds. I hope tomorrow I've lost the last pound so that I can have my prize which I can only guess might be from Hottopic. My mom gave me my Easter treat today. Instead of the usual basket I got a bag that says "Music = Life" and some candy that I have to becareful not to eat all at once. I had my marshmellow chocolate covered little cross already. Well back to the bag, my mom said it was from Hottopic and when I said I'm guessing the next prize is from there she smirked and laughed and walked away lol. Can't wait :laughing:
