Has anyone ever seen Phineas and Ferb at the parks? My 5 year old loves them but I have heard they are really hard to find!

Ok So now that I have my own account....what about the pin trading...is this something that everyone does? My boys are 5 and 3 and I am not sure they would get into it. Although I have read from some of you that people will try to trade with you. What if you don't have any???

Kylee was 5 when she went on her wish trip. This was also our first time pin trading. Kylee really got into it. We had to show her, but caught on really fast.

That is a great question...Kaleb and I love Phineas and Ferb, when we were in the hospital, we watched it as much as possible because we don't have tv service at home.... I wonder if they wouldn't be at Hollywood studios..... Hope you get an answer!

Thanks!! It is good to have my own account since my husband doesn't want me using his! I am kind of thinking the same thing....I have a feeling my oldest would like it for about an hour and then I would be carrying it around. We might just forget it...like you said we will have enough things to think about!!!

Just now catching up on your story. You will love gktw and the parks. I so wanted to go to DTD but I couldn't make it fit in. Every time it was planned something came up. Enjoy everything while you are there!

Pin trading I think is more fun for older kids....my DD when she was 5 liked buying the pins, but refused to trade because "They are MINE" she would tell people if they asked to trade, she didn't understand the concept...she's turning 11 in March and still to this day won't trade her pins...she works hard on finding the ones she loves and doesn't want to get rid of any of them..

that being said, get a lanyard and a special pin or two for the boys, they make nice keepsakes of your trip!

Sounds like fun...from what I have been told some parks only take a half day so when planning our itinerary we are going to keep that in mind and plan some parks with visiting two in one a day. Hope you have a great time, we are so excited about our planning and this site has definetly made it SOOOOO much easier! I take notes with everything everyone posts!

We did AK and EPCOT the same day. We didn't go around the world because the kids didn't want to. We had time to see everything they wwanted to and even ate at RainForest Cafe!

Try to see Santa first thing...otherwise it is a long line or if you miss getting there early, then plan to go toward the end of the party so you don't miss it.

Awesome! Have you called to make the reservation? Teppan Edo can be hard to get into.

This is a great plan...to do Chef Mickey's on a non-Disney park day! Then you get more Disney time when you have your Disney days!

Are you guys getting 4 days at Disney? I know we only got 3...but not sure if they changed it or you are planning to pay for a 4th day or do I remember reading that you guys got a 4th day as part of your wish?

If so...it is awesome that you are doing each park for a day. I definitely think you can do DHS if you arrive there at park opening and then do DTD after. DTD is open late and you could do dinner and shop.

I cannot believe that our trip is next month!!! I am so excited!!! It seems like this is all going really fast.....does anyone know when we will hear from the wish granters again??? Do they wait till the day before or will it be pretty soon. What has your experience been??
I am starting to get a little nervous about packing everything!! I feel like I need to start making a list now!!!

We didnt hear anything for what seemed like a looooonnnnggg time!! In fact, it was so long that my DH and I had to drive down because the cost of the flight the rest of our family was on was crazy high because it was so close!! I think it was 2 weeks before the trip that they finally met with them again, and then 1 week before the trip they got their flight info - lol!!! It was driving me nuts cause half the fun for me is planning!!!!!!
