K-Mart online lay-a-way - how does it work?

I am just clueless on this. I have used lay-a-way many times, but never online. This may be a stupid question, but if you buy it online....how does your items end up in the boxes in lay-a-way? Does an associate go pick out everything you order just like if you were shopping or is it just sent together from a distribution center to the store you want your lay-a-way at?

I feel really stupid having to ask this, but I just don't know the answer lol

I actually work part time at kmart. In our store, its the layaway manager that handles the online layaways. Yes, she boxes them all up and puts them in layaway. Many people use it!
