I thoughjt it was hilarious, and a struggling company like K-Mart has nothing to lose. The grandpa shipping his bed at the end makes me laugh out loud every time.

The company has received a ton of free publicity. The ad made it clear what company it's for and what new service they're offering. Brilliant marketing and mission accomplished, I'd say.

I could understand boycotting KMart because it's a crudy store but not because of that commercial. They're talking about their mail order option if people hear differently that's on them .

"Cute" is not the word I would choose, but it is nothing to boycott. I think it is a stupid commercial. Not really a Kmart fan anyway.

I thought it was pretty clever and, as another poster put it, crossed "a" line without crossing "the" line. And I'm usually pretty stodgy about stuff.

However, while I think it's funny as a viral video, I'm not sure I'd want to see it on my TV at every commercial break. It wouldn't be nearly as clever when my 8 year old starts saying "I ship my pants" 1000 times a day.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I LOVE this!!! brings back some fond memories!!!!

Personally, I will NEVER order anything from KmartOnline again, since I ordered a bed from there last year, and between them and the shipping company they lost it!!! It took me 6 weeks to get a refund, and even though it was really the shipping Company's fault, Kmart contracts them, and they did NOTHING to help me through the process, and were not very apoplogetic. I wanted them to ship another, but they wouldn't until they got the other one back or reimbursed from the shipper!!!! And they wouldn't refund my money until one of those 2 things happened as well.

I go to our local store occasionally when I don't want to deal with the madness of Walmart, simply because our Kmart is a dying Dinosaur that is ALWAYS empty, but always has what I need!!! (like when I needed new bathing suits for the kids for our trip last Oct. kmart had them on thier clearance racks)

As a matter of fact, I might run over there and check thier clearance racks for next year's winter coats for my kids!!!!
