JW Marriott Lake Buena Vista We will be staying at the JW Marriott on our honeymoon in July. We need help with ways to save money on transportation to and from the hotel (from the airport) as well as transportation to universal, seaworld, as well as how far fast food restaurants are from the hotel so we don't have to spend $40 per meal. Any other advice or experiences you would like to share with us would be great as well. Thanks :)

very expensive hotel - beautiful but expensive.

I think your only choice is a car rental - sorry.

I would wait until closer - then try.

www.priceline.com

if you can't find anything before then.

the cheaper eats are over on US 192 in Kissimmee.

This hotel is not really within walking distance of anything but the Ritz Carlton.

I think a car is really your best option, but I bet you are charged for parking.

if your worried about the $40.00 per meal you should consider staying somewhere else. I love that hotel but is is anything but reasonable,
A rental car is the only reasonable means of transpo. You really have alot to choose from in that price range you could stay a any number of properties alittle more reasonable a have extra money for some of those nice little extra's that might mean more than a overpriced resort. Have a great honeymoon and congradulations on your wedding.

I think you may have the name wrong. There is no JW Marriott in LBV.

There is the Marriott World Center which is just on the otherside of I4 from WDW as is the Marriott Sabel Palm. They do provide transportation to WDW, but not sure if there is a fee.

Mears can provide transportation to US, IOA and SW. I would call and make a resv and check out the prices.
I would compare the prices but for convenience alone the rental car is worth it. Dont forget to add in the Parking fee of $8 a day at all the parks.

There is a Chick Fila, Wendy's, McDonald's & Burger King all on Apopka Vineland Rd which is near the Marriott World Center. None are walking distance, you will need a car to get to them.
