Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

Kona is definitely one of my favorite Disney breakfasts! Aren't those pancakes awesome?

I love wandering around One Man's Dream, but we do tend to only end up there in inclement weather. I guess it's hard to convince people to stop going on rides to go to a museum otherwise!

Tim, I don't care if we are up until 3 a.m. in the morning, I am NOT missing Kona this trip. Every year your pictures make me want to go there more and more. Nothing, I tell you NOTHING, will stop me this trip.

The girls look like they are having a blast, despite the rain. And aren't those rain jackets the best. I mean, I love the Disney ones, but they can be so hot, and these you can basically toss away.

the pictures of the little princess together are so cute!

yummy breakfast!

bummer about the truck, lucky there was no damage!

sorry about the rain, but looks like you had a fun time anyways! we love the Walt show! in 2008 we got "Dreamed" there! got micky ears!!

haven't done ToT as of yet, maybe our next trip! great photo!!

Hey Tim,

Before I comment on you fab update, I wanted to remark on your post about Ana and her second b-day party. It is so admirable the way that you and Mel took careful and necessary steps to ensure her safety! I can't believe that family would have an issue with that. Like you needed any added drama. I can tell you right now, I'd have done the same thing and not thought twice about any family members who had a problem with it. As a matter of fact, I might have had a few choice words for them too!:headache: Ugh, so irritating. All that mattered was Ana's health and you and Mel obviously did an excellent job, just look how healthy and beautiful she is!:thumbsup2 Ok, rant over.:goodvibes

Now onto the update! I'm starting to think like Kathy now, that you wait till I go to bed too before you post an update! That's not true, right??;)

Ahhh, Kona. I think we've eaten breakfast there every trip. And you ordered my exact breakfast! Pineapple macadamia pancakes with ham. Isn't it ridiculous how filling those suckers are?? I can never finish, not even close. But I put a nice dent in them.:thumbsup2 DH likes the Tonga Toast but I think it's waaay too sweet. Makes my teeth hurt just looking at it.

Rain? At Disney? So wrong, so very wrong. It sprinkled for our January trip at Epcot so we bought ponchos. Guess what happened about five minutes after putting them on? Yup, rain stopped! Now I have five rain poncho souvenirs.

Gee, what a nice guy who rammed your rental! Doesn't anyone have manners anymore? A simple "I'm sorry, is everything ok?" would suffice.:sad2:

I absolutely adore One Man's Dream! So glad you all liked it too. I could spend hours there. Did you see the movie at the end? It was so good, I cried a tiny bit during it. I just loved seeing all that memorabilia!

ToT is soooo fun! Probably the best themed ride in all of Disney, seriously.:thumbsup2 It's such a creepy/thrilling ride! I scream like a five year old girl every time too! My whole family loves this ride too, makes it even more fun since we all go on together. Nice pic of you with your crazy arms in the back row! It looks like you almost elbowed that poor guy sitting next to you!

Looks like a great HS day so far, especially since you scored FP's for RnR too!

I thought the best way to get to breakfast was to take the bus to MK and then either a boat or monorail to the Poly. Yes, I said Poly....
You sure do eat a lot of meals at the Poly. Don't you get sick of that ugly, nasty old resort???:lmao::rotfl2:

It was still raining hard and Bill & I made the dash to the cars and picked up the girls in front. While I was getting the girls into the car, some guy backed his car right into our rental!
:scared1:

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The guy gets out and looks at his car and my truck and was like 'ummm when did you get there?' I said I was parked here picking up my wife and daughter. Luckily, it didn't leave a mark but he just got back into his car and drove away- No sorry or are you alright or anything. I donno.
 Wow, not too classy.
You should have started making a big deal acting like you had whiplash or something... you know, just to mess with him.

Looks like another fun morning. I haven't been in One Man's Dream before either, and I really don't know why. I usually love that kind of stuff. I guess it has something to do with the fact that my wife hates that kind of stuff.:lmao:

We had a small 2nd birthday party for her and hurt some extended family's feelings. They said some hurtful things about us and we haven't spoken to them since. It might sound kinda anal but this was OUR daughter and we were trying to keep her from getting sick.

I don't blame you one bit. What were those people thinking? This is your baby and you do what YOU have to do to keep her healthy. I just don't understand people sometimes.

Love the update! Sometimes going out in the rain is the greatest thing because people stay in. When we went in December the park was so crowded. All of a sudden the skies opened up and people fled the Magic Kingdom. We grabbed some ponchos from the gift shop and headed on over to splash mountain...(hey we were already wet!). Sounds like you all had a blast in the wet Disney weather!

Thanks for all the advice earlier. My friend is actually someone I work with, so we're all nurses and know better than to visit during work hours (I consider our floor to be a "dirty" floor with all the germs our patients bring in). We're just doing our best to keep our friend (the mom) sane and bring what ever joy we can to the little man while he is "in house." His ANC is down to zero now so I am pretty sure most visits by us are now ruled out. I'm sure he'll pull through this because if he's anything like his mom, he'll have a strong fighting spirit. Thanks again!

Onto your TR, love the pics, even in the ponchos. I love that Juliana is striking a super cute head tilt pose in one of the photos. She's too funny.

I must try the macadamia nut pancakes one of these days. Haven't had one since Hawaii and that picture really makes me want one now!

Tim! I dont' know how I missed this but I'm finally here! Catching up and subbing. Better late than never right?:rolleyes1

Dinner at Ohana and breakfast at Kona Cafe- sounds perfect to me. :rotfl:

I can't believe that guy rammed your car. That's horrible.

DHS is a pretty good rainy day park. Did Juliana like the new Disney Junior show?

Yummmm, Kona! Tonga Toast is probably one of the best things I've ever tasted in my life! The Kona pressed pot makes Chris' day when we're in WDW since all the other coffee there tastes so horrible

The girls are so cute, decked out in their ponchos posing :cutie:

Our flight to Tampa was on time and before we knew it we were boarding and ready to go! Of course, Puppy had to take the flight with Ana.

Smiley girl! So Cute. And is that a Dooney bag I spy on Mel lap? Nice!

On the drive, we past probably the ugliest building in all of sports- Tropicana Field.

I've heard the inside is just as bad.

I love the HM!!!

YAY FOR BABY BUMPS!!!

Look at that little thing Work It!!! Too cute.

IMAG0429.jpg

Has Yuki seen these yet?

DSC01569.jpg

That is one happy camper!

We were greeted when we walked in and got leid!

DSC01573.jpg
Nice! I've never been leid on vacation before. :rotfl2:

DSC01578.jpg

Kids are so cute!

DSC01597.jpg

Yay for Birthday Cupcakes.

DSC01601.jpg

OMG! That looks soooo gooood!

All of the sudden, the skies opened up again. Melody and Juliana hopped into the hatch of the truck. I was laughing at them and I had to take a picture! (Look, she's still smiling!)

I don't blame the girls. I would have done the same thing.

It was still raining hard and Bill & I made the dash to the cars and picked up the girls in front. While I was getting the girls into the car, some guy backed his car right into our rental! Wow! Can you believe that guy. What a jerkface! :sad2:

Just getting all caught up! Kona looks so yummy...for my next trip which will be years from now I am putting it on my list:).

I also just wanted to comment on your extended family who was upset by limiting your princesses 2nd birthday guest list...we had a similar experience. A "friend" had come over with her two kids. Her oldest boy was not going to take off his shoes or wash and sanitize his hands for us. We told her they could not stay then. She felt she could not force him to do these things :confused3 so she pretty much got mad at us as she left and thought we were being "a bit over the top". I let her know I felt like trying to save my daughters life by not letting her get sicker then she already was from chemo was in no way over the top and that it might be a bit over the top to not feel like you can have your child remove their shoes or wash their hands. We are not "friends" anymore...and I don't worry a minute about it! I am so glad you did what was best for your beautiful daughter!

As always loving your TR...it is so fun to get to experience your trip! Hope you have a great day!

great update tim!:thumbsup2 we hit one mans dream everytime we go down.

Thanks! I peeked in there before but I never spent the time looking at everything.

More rain?!?! Hope this isn't a trend for the trip!
I don't want to ruin it but the rain was movin on out! ;)

We've never tried Kona but I think we will add it to the list. Food looks great and no wait in the AM is key.
We try to eat there every trip- we love it there. We really need to try dinner there sometime. :goodvibes

We've only gone through One Man's Dream once - I would really like to try it again. No TOT for Ana? Jordan doesn't like the pre-show but she loves the falling part!
I wanted to take Juliana on ToT but Mel thought it would be too much for her.:confused3

The girls look so cute and happy in all of the photos!!!
Thank you! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Kona is definitely one of my favorite Disney breakfasts! Aren't those pancakes awesome?
I order one of three meals- Tonga Toast, macadamia nut pancakes, or the BIG Kahuna! :thumbsup2 I went with the pancakes this time! popcorn::

I love wandering around One Man's Dream, but we do tend to only end up there in inclement weather. I guess it's hard to convince people to stop going on rides to go to a museum otherwise!
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

OMD was cool and the girls even liked seeing all of the exhibits. :goodvibes

Tim, I don't care if we are up until 3 a.m. in the morning, I am NOT missing Kona this trip. Every year your pictures make me want to go there more and more. Nothing, I tell you NOTHING, will stop me this trip.
What have you been waiting for? I keep telling you that you NEED to eat breakfast there! ::yes::

The girls look like they are having a blast, despite the rain. And aren't those rain jackets the best. I mean, I love the Disney ones, but they can be so hot, and these you can basically toss away.
I bought those for a dollar each at home. So 8 rain ponchos from home cost the same as 1 from Disney.

Great update! Breakfast at Kona looks really good. I know we have to go there eventually. Just who knows when? It always seems so far away from wherever we're staying to get there for breakfast. I love the shot of the girls all walking into the Poly.

I remember you posting the group pic on facebook saying ye were waiting for VOTLM and I was trying to figure out what you were waiting for never thought of The Little Mermaid :lmao:

What have you been waiting for? I keep telling you that you NEED to eat breakfast there! ::yes::

I know, I know. Last year we were tired out by urchins. This year it is our breakfast on our departure day for Marco Island and it will NOT be changed.

Where do you think we get ours? Mark sells to dollar stores and he always brings a pile home before we go.

the pictures of the little princess together are so cute!
It was the girls first trip to Disney and they really had such a great time.. I wonder what took their parents so long to take then down there?

bummer about the truck, lucky there was no damage!
I know. Especially when he just drove away. :confused3

sorry about the rain, but looks like you had a fun time anyways! we love the Walt show! in 2008 we got "Dreamed" there! got micky ears!!
Ooooh! I liked that promotion. I kept looking for the Dream Team and I saw them a few times, but we never got chosen.
haven't done ToT as of yet, maybe our next trip! great photo!!
Yes! You need to!

Hey Tim,

Thank you for the support. We made a few rules after Juliana got sick to try to keep her from getting sick. They weren't the ones driving her to the emergency room at all hours of the night. I know it must be hard on Melody not speaking to her family but she doesn't show it. Mel also cut one of her close friends out because of comments she made about Juliana and cancer.

Now onto the update! I'm starting to think like Kathy now, that you wait till I go to bed too before you post an update! That's not true, right??
It's not on purpose... i swear! Late nights are my alone time! :lmao:

Ahhh, Kona. I think we've eaten breakfast there every trip. And you ordered my exact breakfast! Pineapple macadamia pancakes with ham. Isn't it ridiculous how filling those suckers are?? I can never finish, not even close. But I put a nice dent in them. DH likes the Tonga Toast but I think it's waaay too sweet. Makes my teeth hurt just looking at it.
I like the Tonga Toast- I think I could eat that everyday! :lmao:

I was like 5 bites away from finishing the pancakes... but I couldn't do it, I was STUFFED!

Rain? At Disney? So wrong, so very wrong. It sprinkled for our January trip at Epcot so we bought ponchos. Guess what happened about five minutes after putting them on? Yup, rain stopped! Now I have five rain poncho souvenirs.
:rotfl2: Figures! :sad2:

Gee, what a nice guy who rammed your rental! Doesn't anyone have manners anymore? A simple "I'm sorry, is everything ok?" would suffice.:sad2:
I mean it wasn't my car but if it was damaged I wouldda been VERY mad! An 'I'm sorry' would of been nice.

We didn't stay for the movie since it had just started when we made it back there. I would like to see it though someday.

ToT does have great theming but it isn't scary to me and not too extreme. I think Disney need to add 1 or 2 more intense rides. We were taking all kinds of crazy ride pics this trip. :lmao: ;)

Looks like a great HS day so far, especially since you scored FP's for RnR too!
We were timing the FP times just right... not bad being a Disney vet! :lmao:

You sure do eat a lot of meals at the Poly. Don't you get sick of that ugly, nasty old resort???:lmao::rotfl2:
LOL NO!!! I want to actually stay there someday! ::yes::

 Wow, not too classy.
You should have started making a big deal acting like you had whiplash or something... you know, just to mess with him.
That would of been classic! :rotfl2: The only problem was we were trying to get to DHS to get the ever elusive TSM FPs! ;)

Looks like another fun morning. I haven't been in One Man's Dream before either, and I really don't know why. I usually love that kind of stuff. I guess it has something to do with the fact that my wife hates that kind of stuff.:lmao:
Well you are going to have to ditch the wife for a few minutes and walk through. :thumbsup2

I don't blame you one bit. What were those people thinking? This is your baby and you do what YOU have to do to keep her healthy. I just don't understand people sometimes.
We were shocked that they did that... but to each their own. I think our lives are better without the pettiness.

Tim, I don't care if we are up until 3 a.m. in the morning, I am NOT missing Kona this trip. Every year your pictures make me want to go there more and more. Nothing, I tell you NOTHING, will stop me this trip.

My thoughts exactly !!For my 65th trip I am going to KONA ,if Christine lets me !!!!:rotfl2:
