Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

Yes, I said Poly.... we were eating at our favorite breakfast place- KONA!

Mmmm...great place. Haven't had breakfast there yet, but it had one of the best dinners we've had at Disney.

And of course, a pressed pot of 100% Kona coffee.

::yes:: :drinking1

While I was getting the girls into the car, some guy backed his car right into our rental! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The guy gets out and looks at his car and my truck and was like 'ummm when did you get there?' I said I was parked here picking up my wife and daughter. Luckily, it didn't leave a mark but he just got back into his car and drove away- No sorry or are you alright or anything. I donno.

Wow. You stay classy, San Diego. Did you forget to turn off the cloaking device on your rental car again?

I don't have to many pictures from the a.m. at the studios because of the rain but I know we grabbed some TSM FPs and went to see One Man's Dream- which I have never seen. It was the perfect stop to stay out of the rain.

Looks cool. I haven't checked that out yet.

Of course Ariel found her prince and Ursula was defeated.

Oh, come on! How about a spoiler warning next time! :rotfl2:

See me in the back- 2nd from the left? I was having a blast!

And doing YMCA? :confused3

Once again, Kona didn't disappoint! We love eating breakfast here and I think we turned our friends into believers too.
Yeah, and every time you post about eating a Kona, I decide that I need to try it for breakfast. But I never do. :sad2:

The guy gets out and looks at his car and my truck and was like 'ummm when did you get there?'
Ummm...does it matter? It was before you did!

We grabbed some RnRC FPs and went to meet up with the girls.... not before we passed Und Genius!
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Hope you're having a really great day, Tim!!

Great TR, My DW loved the countdown board, we are trying something like that as we speak, matter of fact I am probably going to get yelled at for being on dis when I should be helping......:rotfl:

LOVE THE TR so far, sorry for the rain, but as a good diser its hard to be let down or unprepared.. :)

PHEW!!! Just read through your whole report so far! popcorn::

I swore I had checked in and commented on the 6th page or so when you started but I don't think I saw my post. :confused3

Anyhoo, love your TR as usual. Juliana is cute as usual too. :cutie:

I'll be following along!

Hi Tim,

Your updates are so much fun! I had hoped to get to Kona for an impromptu breakfast last week after reading so much about it but it didn't happen. I will say that the raisin bread french toast at Whispering Canyons might give a run for the money to Kona's Tonga Toast.

Amazing that you kept your cool when the guy backed into you. at least, that's how it reads here:lmao: I remember when someone backed into me at the grocery store...after I beeped at him 4 times... and he was like "Oh, where did you come from"? ggrrrr but water under the bridge, right? :rolleyes1

I have lurked on your past TR's, but this time I decided to join in. You have a beautiful family and congratulations on baby #2 on the way!:goodvibes

Hi there Tim,

I sympathize with you about the birthday party and hand-washing. We did a lot of the same when Brooke was undergoing chemo. I actually put up a 'Please Wash Your Hands' reminder sign up in the bathroom (it was actually provided to me from our hospital!),as well as a antibacterial soap dispenser. At first, I wondered if people would be offended if they saw the sign and a dispenser, but then I figured people will say what they want, but ultimately, we needed to do what was best for Brooke.

And, I warned everyone attending our thank-you-for-being-supportive party, that if they were sick, unfortunately, they were asked not to attend. (Eeek! The horror of a dis-invitation!) Luckily, no one ever said anything to us about it and everyone was extremely understanding about everything. I even had friends call me up and said ''My DD had a cold about a week ago--I just want to check in--is it okay if we still come? No problem if not.'' People were just so supportive of our situation. Frankly, I am a little shocked that some family members of yours weren't as understanding. Must have made an already hard enough scenario that much more difficult.

Okay--nuff said there. Just wanted to say that I love the photos (as usual). All of those girls look so happy--even in all that rain. Your breakfast pics has me convinced to try out Kona! My hubby would love that pressed coffee--and macademia nut pancakes! Mmmmmm......

It's been so long since I went to Disney--I can't remember, do we need to wear rain gear to attend the Voyage of the Little Mermaid? Does the audience 'get' wet? Brooke would love that!

It does look like you are doing the YMCA....Why are you guys not all seated together?

I'm sure you will have an advantage over me, since I really don't follow the game! my prediction though is Mariners take 2 out of the 3 games!!!
Hummmm.... I say the Yankees will win 2 of 3... sounds like we need to place a wager on this. :scratchin

I just want to comment on your issues with family and friends when Ana was so sick.....I would of done the same thing as you, my dear friend who lost her little guy had the same issues the couple times he was home....if people don't understand why you are doing what you need to do to keep your children as healthy as can be, they are missing something in their common sense part of their brains!
unfortunately sickness and death (in our case with Curran and my Jim) brings out so much ugliness in people!
hold those close who support you NO MATTER WHAT!!! the rest are missing out on the wonderful part of being in your lives!!!
ok, off my soapbox....
Thanks for the encouragement. I know we did the right thing for Juliana and I really don't give a hoot (for lack of a better term for a family website) what they think of us.

hope you all had a great weekend and to see a current baby bump photo soon too!
I'm tired... I'm waiting for Monday. A day off! :woohoo:

Baby bump picture? I haven't even seen Mel to take a picture of the bump! :rotfl:

:cool1::banana: Glad to hear the rain moved out!
SHHHHHH.... don't ruin it for everyone else! ;) :rotfl2:

The first time we took Jordan on TOT she was 4 1/2. We explained it to her and told her to close her eyes for anything that scared her or she didn't like. I think she closed her eyes through the whole pre-show and beginning of the ride that first time but loved the falling elevator! Every kid is different though - my niece probably won't be ready for TOT until she is at least 10!
That's a good idea. I know Juliana would love the ride... it is just everything leading up to the ride that might scare her. She won't be riding it till she is at least 6.... :sad1:

I'm so happy to see another trip report from you! I've enjoyed reading all your reports and watching Juliana grow up through your trips to Disney:)
:welcome: Thanks for reading!!! She has gotten so much bigger since my first TR. I need to post a pic from our first trip and this past trip to compare. :goodvibes

I'm glad to see the rain is letting up and I'm hoping you wont have much more of it throughout the trip. I'm at least hoping that the rain kept the crowds away. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the trip!
It was pretty busy while we were there- even with the rain.

This TR has taken much longer than I had hoped. I hope to have an update up soon.

Mmmm...great place. Haven't had breakfast there yet, but it had one of the best dinners we've had at Disney.
I really want to eat there for dinner but it hasn't happened yet. Someday, someday. ::yes::

Wow. You stay classy, San Diego. Did you forget to turn off the cloaking device on your rental car again?
Little Will Ferrell there? I think people just like to hit me. :confused3

Looks cool. I haven't checked that out yet.
It is like walking through a mini Disney museum. I'm sure the kids will complain while you are in there... although ours didn't. Maybe they liked staying dry more than not being in there.

Oh, come on! How about a spoiler warning next time!
Woops! My BAD! :rolleyes1

It's not like I told you there was going to be a stretched limo waiting for you in the back alley.... I mean a super stretched! ;)

And doing YMCA? :confused3
I think I was trying to flex with out knocking out the 2 people sitting next to me. :confused3

Yeah, and every time you post about eating a Kona, I decide that I need to try it for breakfast. But I never do.
So what's the problem? You should treat your inlaws to breakfast for once. ;)

Ummm...does it matter? It was before you did!
Basically. I'm just glad there wasn't any damage.

Hope you're having a really great day, Tim!!
Thank you Liesa!!!!! I am shot.... I'm off to bed in a few. I hope you had a great day too! :flower3:

Great TR, My DW loved the countdown board, we are trying something like that as we speak, matter of fact I am probably going to get yelled at for being on dis when I should be helping......:rotfl:
:welcome: Thanks for reading!!!!

I hope you didn't get yelled at! :lmao: We always make a countdown calendar... I think Melody & I get more excited looking at it that Juliana does. :lmao::lmao:

LOVE THE TR so far, sorry for the rain, but as a good diser its hard to be let down or unprepared.. :)
:welcome: Thanks for posting!

I have found that if you go looking for Disney magic it is hard to find.... the Magic has to come to you (as you will see in a future update- if I ever get to it! LOLOLOL)

I have lurked on your past TR's, but this time I decided to join in. You have a beautiful family and congratulations on baby #2 on the way!:goodvibes

Vivian
:welcome: Vivian!!!!

So many new posters!!! Thanks for posting!!!

I can't believe in just over 2 months we are going to be a family of 4! :scared1::eek::scared1: :goodvibes:goodvibes

PHEW!!! Just read through your whole report so far! popcorn::
:welcome: Aimee!!!! Thanks for reading! I hope you used the links and didn't read through of 37 pages of (mostly) banter! LOL

I swore I had checked in and commented on the 6th page or so when you started but I don't think I saw my post. :confused3
No worries.... That happens to me sometimes too. I'm not sure if the posts don't post or I think I post when I actually don't!!! HAHA!

Anyhoo, love your TR as usual. Juliana is cute as usual too. :cutie:

I'll be following along!
Thanks!!!! :)

Too bad you didn't get into Kona. :sad1:

Hummm.... I'm not a fan of raisin bread so I'm sure I would side with the Tonga! ;)

Amazing that you kept your cool when the guy backed into you. at least, that's how it reads here:lmao: I remember when someone backed into me at the grocery store...after I beeped at him 4 times... and he was like "Oh, where did you come from"? ggrrrr but water under the bridge, right? :rolleyes1
I was cool... :cool2:

I was probably so cool because it wasn't MY car! :rotfl2:

GEEZ! I mean there are accidents, but your situation (and mine) seem like then could of been avoided by the other drivers actually paying attention! :lmao::lmao:

I know we aren't alone when it came to trying to keep our kids healthy. We had friends that would keep their kids away from Juliana if they thought they were getting sick. When Juliana had a low ANC or a HIGH ANC we always kept her away from other kids. I don't think she stepped foot in the grocery store for 6-9 months while she was on treatment.

Okay--nuff said there. Just wanted to say that I love the photos (as usual). All of those girls look so happy--even in all that rain. Your breakfast pics has me convinced to try out Kona! My hubby would love that pressed coffee--and macademia nut pancakes! Mmmmmm......
Even though it was raining (and sometimes very hard) we really had such a fun morning at breakfast and DHS.

I should work for Kona... I mean I am constantly talking it up! :lmao:

It's been so long since I went to Disney--I can't remember, do we need to wear rain gear to attend the Voyage of the Little Mermaid? Does the audience 'get' wet? Brooke would love that!
It rains on the audience a few times but you don't need rain gear... it is just a few little drops. ;)

It does look like you are doing the YMCA....Why are you guys not all seated together?
I think I was flexing! HAHA... I looked closer at the pic and Dave was sitting next to me (on my right wearing the grey METS shirt) He must of met up with us to ride... Now I am starting to forget details- this TR needs to get finished!!!! ::yes:: popcorn:: :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Mmmm Kona is DELISH. :cloud9:

You are CORRECT! ::yes:: :rotfl2:

Both your girls are beautiful. princess:
Thank you... :goodvibes:goodvibes

Hey Timbo:wave2:! (aren't you glad I didn't say "Timmy"!):goodvibes

I hope work is settling down a bit. Though I suppose this is your extremely busy season.

Maybe it's time to turn this TR over to Ana then.:thumbsup2 She's so darn cute and spunky, I'm sure she and Puppy would have no problem throwing updates here lickety-split! Then people who shall remain nameless will not pester you for updates. See, everybody wins!

How's Mel feeling?? Good I hope! She must be what, six months pregnant by now? I hope you're taking good care of her, you don't want me and Kathy to give you grief, do you?? Rub her back, massage her feet, give her a ridiculous amount of ice cream (the good stuff, not that no name brand junk!) and tell her how beautiful she is at least 10 times a day.:thumbsup2

Looking forward to any updates you might, in the near future, post! You do remember how to post, right? Or have you been hanging around Marv too much lately...:rolleyes1

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!!

I never got leied at 'Ohana. Feeling pretty bummed about that ya know.
Probably a good thing, being hounded by the paparazzi like you were! Solo trips do have their drawbacks I guess, and I'm guessing you probably didn't have a chance to wander into a wayward restroom while you were there either....... :rolleyes1
I got leied once at O'Hana, but I had to initiate the process.
TMI!!!! (....and thanks for the suggestion!!!) ;)
As for initiating! I think that's perfectly acceptable...
Not just acceptable, but encouraged AND welcomed....... :thumbsup2
All this talk about getting Leied !!!! What is the Dis becoming !!!!:confused3:rolleyes1:rotfl2:I will tell Judy she will get Leied , she may want to go there every night !!!!:rotfl2:
Judy, huh??? Riiiigggghhhttt!!! :rotfl2:
Slow updating???? That's the understatement of the month. The only one worse than you is Marv. :lmao:
Looking forward to any updates you might, in the near future, post! You do remember how to post, right? Or have you been hanging around Marv too much lately...:rolleyes1
And to think you two were this close to earning bonus points....... :sad2:

Well Tim, I'm finally all caught up again! Great updates and pictures, as usual (well, with Mel and Ana being so photogenic, how could you possibly go wrong.....) :goodvibes

Planning to make it to Kona for breakfast on our upcoming trip. (First time for breakfast there) So do you suggest the Tonga Toast or the Macadamia pancakes for my first time??? :confused3
