Just when you thought you knew about PSs...

I called this morning to make a PS for exactly 90 days at LTT. Everything was fine with that. Then I asked about making PSs for 3 different places at the resorts -- WCC, YCG, and CMC. The dates I wanted them were definitely more than 90 days out - Nov 11 and 15 and I was able to make PSs for all of them. Go figure... Made me happy but just want to give everyone else a heads up just in case.

My 120 days is this Saturday for a PS I want to make.

I am going to call "just in case" because I really want a certain time.

Yes. They did ask where I was staying but only after telling me I could make the PSs. I have a feeling that it may only be for resort dining. The CM seemed to be just a bit surprised when the computer told her she could make the PSs. She also said they have a new calculator system in their computers that lets them tell everyone when they can make their PSs. However, she went by that and punched in the restaurant and it allowed the PSs earlier than 90 days.

My feeling is that it can't hurt to try calling earlier. I still need to make PSs for 50s Prime Time and Crystal Palace but had already heard that it was definitely 90 days for MK restaurants and I didn't bother for 50s. I'll call at 90 days out for those. That's in a couple days anyway for me. No big deal.

Good luck to everyone trying and post here if you can make any PSs more than 90 days out and for where if they are!

I'm checking this out and hope to have some information on this by tomorrow. As far as I know, the 90 day PS rule was for all resort and themepark restaurants.

So, WDW has a new PS calculator...hmmmm.

I was going to post the same thing. I believe it has been 120 days for resort restaurants for some time now. Park restaurants are all 90 days, as of a couple weeks ago.

i was able to book the pirates cruise tonight. i thought that i could only book at 90 days out; from today, that would be november 10th. cm this am told me that date was already full. just checking, i called back tonight and the 10th was still full, but the cm asked me if i was interested in another day. i said that i didn't think that my other days could be booked yet, but when she said she had openings on the 12th, i jumped at it!

so what is going on? what is the time frame for pirates cruise? i have a confirmation number, so assuming that i'm ready to go (my 4 yo ds is going, that is)!

What I found out is all the Epcot and Resort restaurants and events that were 120 days at 8/3, were left open until they catch up to the 90 day mark. So, eventually, they will all be 90 day PS. The exceptions is MGM Lunch was 120 days was changed to 90 days to keep in line with MGM dinner.

I don't know, I'm confused to!

I guess time will tell.

This is really irritating! I read the original poster's note and picked up the phone to see whether I could book Chef Mickey's for Dec. 6 and the tea party for Dec. 8. At first, I was told, "Sure, I can help you with that." Then, the CM came back on the line to say, "No dice. (paraphrasing). They can only be reserved 90 days out." This, after a bit of time -- maybe the CM was using that "new calculator"? Maybe some CMs know how to operate the calculator better than others????

I know one thing. I'm going to be PO'd if I get to 90 days and the restaurants I want and the tea party and pirate cruise are full!!
