Just what I wanted for Christmas-LINKS ON PAGE 1--- updated 11/19/10

Hey girlie!! Yea, I understand about the dress, and sizing. It's tough, but you can do it. I've been stuck at 155 for a while now, need to get moving on it!!! I'm feeling good, but not as good as I can. We NEED to get pictures this time of us!!!!! :) HAHA Not sure if CHris will be there or not, he's got time to take, just if it's a good time for him to take it. We're not sure yet. Talk to ya later!

I can't wait to see this------

AND believe me....It's worth the trip! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Dana, I am so glad I found your PTR link! I can't wait to read all about your upcoming trip!

Found out today that Amanda has to go to a training class in Atlanta in November so I am taking off and going with her. I'm a little nervous as I have never driven in a major city like Atlanta before :scared1:. I think it will be fun though as long as I can get to the interstate. I can't remember if I told everyone or not but she has a permanent job now. She is working at the hospital with me, but she is in the IT department. I have only been to Atlanta one time so I'm a bit nervous.

Hi Dana! Just found your PTR! I navigate Atlanta by travelling in the HOV lane. It's weird but that lane moves and pretty much stays isolated from the other craziness that is Atlanta. :rotfl: Drove through there a few weeks ago...it was good about 9pm on a Monday night and it was good at 4pm on a Sunday. In July it really wasn't much fun on a Friday at 6pm...:scared1:. I learned to drive in Detroit so Atlanta doesn't rattle me too much. On the other hand, Los Angeles is REALLY freakin' crazy driving...don't go there...run away...very....far...away. :lmao:

I love the dress you've picked for Amanda's wedding. It's looking like I may be in Orlando Dec. 7-12 for an industry convention (trip paid by my employer :woohoo:)....maybe we can hook up!

Hey Leanne....we're hooking up with Dana on the 9th to do MVMCP, so if your convention allows....that would be a perfect time!!!! Plus, I start vacation that day!!! :woohoo:

I'm not ignoring ya'll really; it has been a very busy week. My sister, the one I went to the concert with, is in the hospital so I've been tied up with her and I worked today and I'll work tomorrow.

I promise I will be back this weekend to respond.

I love the dress, Dana. It's very similar to what Lacey says she wants for her wedding dress. She says that but she may changer her mind and go for something all together different.

How did you like the concert? The last one I went to was so many years ago I can't even remember who it was. I think it was ZZ Top.

Thanks Lisa. I think it is a pretty dress. I know that I will change my mind a 100 times before the wedding......:lmao:.

We had a blast at the concert. I didn't realize who One Republic was until they sang a few songs :rolleyes1. I will post some pix. It looks like we were a long way from the stage, but we weren't.

Hi Dana!! I just caught up on your TR and I'm joing your PTR!! I've been MIA from the DIS for a few months but I'm back and counting down the days to our Nov/Dec trip!! I'm excited to see WDW at Christmastime, too!! Can't wait! Love your dress for the wedding--it's so pretty! Oh--and ROLL TIDE!!

Hey Becky  Thanks for joining in. I don't know why I don't seem to have as much time for the Dis either :confused3. I'm really excited about going to Disney during the Christmas season; I just can't wait to see all the lights and decorations :goodvibes.

It is very frustrating to be between sizes :headache:. I plan on us getting pix this time. I still can't believe we didn't get any at DTD. We are sooooooo close to our time that I need to be getting clothes out and start packing :yay::cheer2:.

I'm so excited about it Michelle. I know it is going to be beautiful. After I drive Amanda and I to Atlanta I may even get up enough nerve to drive to Orlando on one of my weekends off :rolleyes1. I could really take advantage of my APs then.....:rotfl:.

:cool1::banana: Leanne is here too :thumbsup2. Amanda found out yesterday where we will be staying and it is actually on the other side of Atlanta so I have to drive all the way through the city :scared1:. I will find the HOV lane for sure and that is where I will stay. I get very nervous driving in a place I've never been before so when I park that is where I will be.....:lmao:

Thanks on the dress :goodvibes. I hope we can meet up if you are in Orlando, that would be so much fun :goodvibes. Let me know and we can make plans. It you could meet up with Christie and me at MVMCP :thumbsup2.

Hey Leanne....we're hooking up with Dana on the 9th to do MVMCP, so if your convention allows....that would be a perfect time!!!! Plus, I start vacation that day!!! :woohoo:

YES, YES, YES, :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2. That would be great:thumbsup2.

Sorry to hear about your sister Dana!!! Hope everything is alright!!!!!

Thanks Christie . She is home now and doing fine. Her potassium was very low so they put her in the hospital to bring her levels back up.

Hope your sister is doing okay! Thinking about you here in KY!

Thank you Leanne . She is back to her old self. I told her she needed to buy a banana tree :rotfl:.

Hey Dana!! Glad everything is alright with your sister. My sisters' bird died that she had for 19 years yesterday, and I was released from my job yesterday, so it was a bad day all around. We have a good friend named Annie that is diligently trying to find me a job, I gotta get her a resume together, she started making phone calls last night when we told her. I'm not as distrought as I thought I would be, everything happens for a reason, and it'll be alright. Chris gets this bonus soon, and everything will be fine, I'm still working on the VA, and I got one week of vacation they gotta pay me for. So it's alright. If you come down for a weekend to use your APs, and you need a place to stay, let me know!! We got an extra bedroom if you don't mind dogs!!!!!!! I can drive from here to disney LOL It's not hard driving to here.....so just let me know, you're always welcome!!!!! Oh,I also got some wholesale jewelry that I can take to the flea market to sell......so I have options. Some of it is Mickey jewelry, so if anyone wants pictures, let me know!!! I need all the help I can get until Chris gets this bonus!!! LOL Anyways, have a good halloween, and I'll be off and on tomorrow.....so take it easy, and have a good night!!!!

Hey Christie, thanks on my sister. She said this morning that she is still weak, but the doctor told her to expect that.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister's bird. Tyler had a little Zebra Finch, when he was about 9, and one morning he came down the hall crying, holding the bird, and said "Mama Petey died". Tyler and I stood in the hall crying over that bird. Turns out the bird probably saved our lives because he died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The sill around our furnace had began to wear out and carbon monoxide was leaking. We were all having horrible headaches and we could not figure out why. A couple of days later my mom called the gas company and they came out and made her, Amanda and Tyler get out of the house, and they called the fire department. Dale and I were at work. It was the kids first day of Christmas break. I was pregnant with Dallas and didn't even know it yet. We went out that evening about bought 3 carbon monoxide detectors. Our house now is total electric so I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I'm REALLY sorry to hear about your job. This economy has me so nervous I can't hardly stand it. I never worried about my job nor Dale's until the past 3 years. I worry more about mine once that health care reform debacle gets started. I could go into a tirade about it, but I will refrain. I hope you find something soon. I'm sure you won't have a problem though, you have experience and you are good with people. It always helps to have someone on the inside pulling for you too, so your friend is a good source. I know you will be able to breath a little easier once Chris' bonus comes in.

We are going to our Church for trunk or treat tonight. I hope ya'll have a good Halloween too.

I would love to see pictures of your Mickey jewelry :thumbsup2.

I know I promised pictures of the concert yesterday, but Photobucket has been driving me crazy. Every time I start uploading pictures, it goes down about half way through the upload :headache:.

Sorry the pictures aren't too good. I took my little camera and the batteries went dead so I bought some new ones and they went dead too, one of the pictures is from my phone. I didn't even think to take my Canon :sad2:.

We really had a good time. We ate at the Hard Rock buffet and played a little on the slot machines. I'm not much on losing money so when I got $45 dollars ahead, I stopped playing. My sister called me a chicken...:rotfl2:.

Sounds like a great night, Dana. The pictures turned out fine...but I have to admit...I never heard of either one of those groups (guess my age is showing).

Happy Halloween to you guys too.

Hey, Dana sounds like a great night for you and your sister. Sorry to hear that she was not doing well but, that she is doing better.

Ok- I am SOOOO jealous that you got to see Maroon 5!!!! It sounds like you had a great time. I'm glad that your sister is doing better- I had no idea low potassium levels could have an effect like that!
December is going to be here before we know it! :woohoo:

It was fun Kathy. I have a lot more pictures, but I didn't want to over do it :rolleyes1 :lmao:.

It isn't age showing, it is just a different taste in music :thumbsup2. And don't feel bad, Dale said he didn't know who they were either.....:rotfl2:.
One Republic has a lot of songs that are on TV shows.

Hey, Dana sounds like a great night for you and your sister. Sorry to hear that she was not doing well but, that she is doing better.

Thanks Connie :goodvibes. She is getting better everyday. The doctor has her taking potassium at home.

We did have a good time. My sister had tickets for Darius Rucker for this past Saturday, but of course she didn't get to go .

April it was such a GOOD concert. I love Maroon 5 :lovestruc:cloud9::love:. I did not realize how skinny Adam Levine was though, somebody needs to give the boy a hambuger.......:lmao:.

Potassium is VERY important. We have to have it for muscle health. It is vital as it makes our hearts work.

I am so excited about our trips :cool1::woohoo::yay:

34 DAYS :cool1::banana::woohoo::yay:.

Sure looks like ya'll had a good time at the concert! Woohoo for winning $45.00.

Lisa we did have fun :goodvibes. I was very excited about my $45 too, I just needed some of Kathy's luck :rolleyes1.

I made reservations for Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th at Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista. I checked to see if I could add the two days to my Disney reservation and they didn't have any rooms at Pop and the deal at QSLBV was great. I got a one bedroom suite, with a full kitchen, free high speed internet, two TVs(for Dale and Dallas that is important) and full breakfast buffet for $56 a night. From what I can tell it is located next to DTD.

I have been trying to get our third Universal ticket on mycokerewards, but they still aren't offering it. If they don't I think I will give the tickets to Amanda so she and Matt can use them when they go on their honeymoon.

I looked at park hours this week so Monday Dallas and I will sit and make our plans. I'm working this weekend so we don't have time to do it till then.

I'm seriously considering putting up our Christmas tree next week too. I love having it up and the longer it is up the better I like it. Walmart has Disney candy canes and I bought some yesterday. They are really cute and I am going to buy a few more packs. I also ordered some clothes for our trip, well, I ordered us some jeans. Dallas owns ONE pair...... I will pack half of what we own since the weather can change from one day to the next. It is in the 30's at night here right now, but next week we warm back up to the 50's.

OK, I have rambled on enough for tonight, I will be back in a few to update our plans.

If anyone has eaten at Via Napoli I would love to hear about it. We have an ADR there and while I would love it, not sure Dale and Dallas realize it won't be like eating Pizza Hut :rotfl:

Hey Dana! thanks for checking in on me
we have had a very busy weekend...Friday night Danny and I had our grade school reunion (it was for classes '79-'89) it was alot of fun to see so many people we grew up with. Last night my cousin's dgt got married, it was beautiful and just reminded us (along with all our friends--that we are next, Gwendolyn) they had everything at the reception hall. The ceremony was set up in one room and than the reception in the hall part of the building. I can only imagine the cost (I told Danny when we left, we better start saving our pennies now--should have probably started when she was born  ).

As for the US/IOA passes when we had gotten our cokerewards passes last year two of the four had quick expiration dates, so be sure to check your expirations.

Sounds fun to be getting ready to plan and what a GREAT deal on Quality Inn; can't wait to hear what you think may give it a try on our next visit for our first night if we drive straight through and do not plan a park visit.

Have a great day! enjoy your babies...
:wave2: Connie
