Found out today that Amanda has to go to a training class in Atlanta in November so I am taking off and going with her. I'm a little nervous as I have never driven in a major city like Atlanta before . I think it will be fun though as long as I can get to the interstate. I can't remember if I told everyone or not but she has a permanent job now. She is working at the hospital with me, but she is in the IT department. I have only been to Atlanta one time so I'm a bit nervous.

That is what I know Connie. We went one time and I was a nervous wreck just riding through.

Just hang on and pray when driving in Atlanta. I drove thru there once or twice, and it is horrible. Not as bad as California tho.

I'll have to let you know about lunch, I was gonna take Tyler out of school early that day, but not sure HOW early. I need him to be in school as much as possible since we're taking 5 days in May, so we'll have to see. I can't believe it's coming up to the Holidays!!! UG!!! Where has this year gone?????

I know . I think we are going to leave really early on Sunday morning to drive up there and then leave VERY early to drive home. I am hoping the training is going to be at the hotel we will be staying in. I will just take my computer and hang out in the room while she is in training class. I'm not much on exploring a city, I don't know about, by myself.

I know . I'm as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs . As soon as we find out which hotel we will be staying in I will sure be picking Jesse or Lacey's mind. I know how to get to Atlanta, but don't know a thang about driving there . Dale drove when we were there and I sat in the passenger seat praying .

Thanks on the job. It is a load off her mind as her student loans start coming due in December.

I will be in Atlanta, but I'm not going to go out......... When Dale and I went we were there for a NASCAR race and we went to the track and to the hotel room; period.

Before we flew to Orlando, we used to drive with the kids and my parents from Chicago. Going through Atlanta was the absolute worse. We learned later on to time it and we would go through it at 3 a.m. in the morning when there was no one on the roads.

I plan on leaving home early on Sunday morning to drive up and then leaving Atlanta REALLY early on Wednesday morning to drive back home. I know it is going to be nerve racking.

Yesterday Amanda and I went for her dress fitting. The only alteration that has to be done is it has to be hemmed. I wondered how in the world they were going to hem that dress and it never accured to me that they would just add more pickups . I took some pictures with my cell phone, but the lighting is HORRIBLE. I'm going to try and work on them and get the color better and when I do I will upload them. While we were at David's Bridal Amanda wanted me to look at mother of the bride dresses and I think I tried on about 10 different dresses before I decided on which one I liked.

This is the one we decided on. Amanda's colors are black, red and white and the dress comes in red and black.

Those who know Dale knows that he called me fifty eleven times while we were there .

Tonight my sister and I are going to Hard Rock to see Maroon 5 . I'm so excited about it; I haven't been to a concert in a long time.

I saw the tronorail, and thought of you. we didn't ride on it. LOL I didn't take my camera yesterday, and wished I did. I think I'm NEVER gonna not bring my cameral again.

Thanks Queen. It is really a pretty dress. I didn't know if I would like it until I put it on and it is really flattering.

I don't know if Dale misses me so much as he just doesn't know what I may be up too............ If he isn't calling me Dallas is .

Thanks Kathy. I think I am going with the black. Her bridesmaid dresses are going to be red and I don't want to be competing with them...... I tried on a dress that was a ball gown, like her wedding dress, but I just felt it was wrong to wear a dress like hers. Funny thing; she actually wanted me to get it............

I won't get the dress for a while; I'm trying to lose weight and I am in between sizes so the 14 is too small and the 16 is too big . I don't want to have to pay the horrible alteration fees .

I love Tron. I can't wait until it comes out. I know I'm a product of the 80's .

I feel really stupid that I didn't take my Canon to the concert last night. I took my little camera and it just doesn't do as well.

I love the dress, Dana. It's very similar to what Lacey says she wants for her wedding dress. She says that but she may changer her mind and go for something all together different.

How did you like the concert? The last one I went to was so many years ago I can't even remember who it was. I think it was ZZ Top.
