Just wanted to share something funny with everyone...

Remember how my Honors Council made cards for the troops? Well, not all of them made it in the box....

And by that, I mean they were TERRIBLE!

I just wanted to share a few of the... more interesting.. ones here.

Keep in mind these are 18-20 year olds, some of the brightest minds of Suffolk.... yeesh.

(yes, I saved this one so I could pull gems off of it. What a waste of gems!!! )

These were certainly the worst of the bunch - but Z2H did discover a few hidden gems (no pun intended!) in her fellow students! There were two young women who produced remarkable cards - they are "scrappers-to-be" we're sure!

What's the Southern saying? "God love them...," or something like that which is the equivalent of .............!

Reminds me of when I taught middle school art class. I had the kids do an Andy Worhol project. One kid colored a can of Spam. There were lines all over his image from where he had colored with a crayon in about 10 different directions. When I hung it in the hallway one of the younger kids in the school said, "A middle schooler did that?!'

Yikes! Gotta love them for trying though. I guess that goes to show that an intelligent mind and a creative mind do not go hand in hand neccessarily. ZTH you luckily got both!

That's because he didn't have any ideas, but he had apple paper in his hand, so I mentioned that phrase - it didn't turn out quite like I had pictured.....
