Just upgraded to concierge at WL!!

After reading so many posts about the wonderful things associated with concierge level, I decided to upgrade my room. We will not be at the Wl concierge from 28 Sept - 5 Oct!! I can't wait! I hope we got a good rate on the room ($1639 for seven nights).

That is a great rate. I thought I was doing good when I got 7 nights in Dec at WL concierge for $1709 ($219 + tax per night).

What rate code did you use to get the room for such a great rate? It looks like you upgraded prior to checkin? Is that true?
What was your original room rate?

TDERadulski is going in Value Season.

Dec is also Value season and I used the AP rate to get $219 per night. Without discount, WL Concierge is $350 per night during value season.


I've seen another post where the person was able to upgrade to WL concierge prior to check-in for $56 a night.

Have the changed the policy? In the past you had to upgrade at check-in

Who knows anymore? My DD got sick and we were scheduled to arrive on 9/12. I called to move it to the following week so she would be better able to go. CM said there were no rooms available on the FL Resident rate. Waited an hour called back and got it changed. So go figure.

I have experienced this myself, you talk to one CM on the phone about reservations, etc. and you get no where, you call back 30 mins later and bingo, you get what you're looking for from another CM. I firmly believe it's all about who you talk to and/or when.

In making my recent arrangements for our Halloween extravaganza, I encountered the very best CM I have ever spoken with. She went the extra mile to satisfy our requests.
