hi everyone:wave: my name is eve,i'm new to this site and just thought i'd pop in to say hi
we are going to wdw next september and are staying at all star movies with my husband and 2 boys(charlie and jack)i'm sure i'll be asking lots of questions before we go:D :D
can you tell me how you get the count down calender under your posts

thanks eve:D :D

Hi Eve! Welcome to the Dis! I know you will learn a lot from these boards. Feel free to ask away. Don't forget to visit our Resort, Restaurant, and Trip Reports boards. :)

Hi, Eve. We stayed at All Star Music last December-myself, husband, and daughter-and we loved it! We didn't do any pools or anything because we were there only 4 days-and we're from Georgia, so to us it's cold! We stayed at the parks all day, but when we came back to the room every night the maid would have my daugher's animals and tiaras arranged around the room-so cute! I bought tiny little Mickey's, etc, at Big Lots several months before the trip, just for this reason! We're going again next week and staying in GF concierge-meeting my sisters and their families. Even though most of the cousins are teenagers, my youngest daughter and I are already scouring the stores for Disney plushes, glow sticks, chasing lazer lights, etc. to make their trip, and ours, especially magical! You will LOVE the All-Stars, I'd stay their again! Get excited!

Hi and Welcome.
The countdown calendar can be had by visiting the Tech board.
There are easy step by step instructions.

Hi!

Just wanted to say, have fun planning your trip! We've been that time of year also, and it was terrific! Low crowds, warm weather, no stress!

Have fun!

Hello Eve, and welcome to the DIS!! You're going to have lots of fun planning, and you've come to the right place -- everyone here would love to help you!

In case you didn't find the exact page for the instructions to add your countdown to your posts, click here:

Will this be your first trip?

hi all thank you for making me feel very welcome i feel at home already:D
this is my second trip we stayed at all star movies back in november 01 we are staying there again for our next trip,i'm sure i'll be posting lots of questions between now and when we go
my kids loved the movies especially when they came back to our room to see what the maids had done with their mickey, pluto and things
judging by all your reports there are a lot of things that we didn't get round to doing i feel as thought we missed out on quite a bit,so needless to say i will be doing a lot of planning on this trip(i didn't really plan anything last time we just went with the flow:smooth:)perhaps that's why we missed things
i also didn't do any character meals or eat in some of the resorts(how sad i know:rolleyes: )didn't know the boardwalk was there either so i will be back to get all your tips and suggestions later :D :D

Hi Eve!

It's such a pleasure to have you here on Disboards. As a fall vet, I'm always excited to see someone get to discover September at WDW. Hands down an incredibly wonderful time to visit the world.

I look forward, as I'm sure everyone else does, to answering what questions you have. If there's anything close to as much fun as visiting Disney, it's talking about it! You'll find a wealth of knowledge here, and maybe even knowledge to save your wealth! Check out all the boards, get your questions together, and enjoy the planning stage. It's part of the fun!

All my best,

Pat

hi pat
we go 28 september untill october 12th 04 we are staying at the all star movies
how is the weather then, when we went last time in november it was high seventies, which to us in the uk is quite hot
also does it rain alot at this time

eve

We love this time of year to go, too. Warm enough to still enjoy swimming, but not intense heat. Also, lower crowds.

But the weather can be fickle. One year, it rained SERIOUS rain on us every day out of the 10 days we were there. (I think that trip was from 1-10 October, 1999). But one year later, we saw only an occasional shower during the ten days we were there (at nearly the same time).

Just be prepared for the rain & have ponchos with you. The good news is that rain has a tendency to send lots of folks back to their hotels, so that means shorter lines for you!!

hi donna
i'm one of those people that moan about the rain:rolleyes:  i just hope it dosen't but i will buy a poncho i was sorry i didn't get one last time(and it only drizzled for one day)i told you i moaned:D :D :D

Eve,
I joined DisBoards in May. I cannot TELL YOU how much I have learned about WDW in one month!!! The people on this board are very friendly and super-knowledgeable about the parks. From restaurants and character meals, to transportation, good walking shoes, and park secrets...you'll read it all here! From everything I've learned here I know my trip will be better planned and far more successful.

Have you found the counter thread yet?

Hi Eve. Welcome to the DIS. I'm really glad that you found us and I hope that you can join us often and will enjoy planning your trip here.

We have a transatlantic trip planning chat today at 7PM BST (Or is it GMT now?) Won't you join us? This chat is set for a time when our UK DISers can participate. There will be people present from both sides of the Atlantic. I sure hope you will be able to join us. I'm one of the hosts for that chat, I'll be watching for you.

The chat room is right HERE. I hope to see you in a few hours :)

hucifer I hope you will join us too :)
