Just talked to a very nice CM

I just talked to a very nice CM about our WDW vacation for 2010. She suggested for me to book our reservation now, and to keep checking back because when (not if), they release the next promotion for later next year I can call right away and change it over at that time.

She didn't say what that would be but she mentioned more than once about the 7 for 4 promotion even though she knew we are going sometime between May and August.

I believe that she was trying to let me knoe to watch for the 7 for 4 promotion for sometime May-August, without getting into trouble by actually telling me.

I think you are reading too much into it. She was probably just speculating, cm's usually are not given that much advance notice on promotions.

I'm sure they will extend the 4/7 offer. They did this year and I don't think the economy has improved enough to cause Disney to stop offering additional discounts!!!
I'm with you MagicKingdom05, we're booked for May 26-June 4 and I'm sure they'll be more discounts to come!!!

They've been at this game long enough to know that a certain percentage of guests will rebook their vacation with a discount. Another percentage will upgrade their resort with the proper incentive. And still more will be encouraged to make their initial reservation because of this.

I actually just got off the phone reserving my vacation for late May 2010 and the CM said there's a good chance there will be a promotion available sometime soon for my time frame, and then started explaining what I will need to do if that happens, and to keep an eye out Sorry for the run on sentence!

ITA. We must remember that Dis'ers are only small percent of Disney's total guests. Not everyone books with the hope of a discount, and there are those out there who will only book after a discount comes out. Plus I know that for my Dec 2010 trip I will definitely upgrade if a good enough discount comes out. So far I have only stayed deluxe, mainly because of my family size, but for our anniversary trip dh and I are toying around with the idea of staying mod and doing deluxe dining. Now if I can get a good room discount or free dining we will upgrade to deluxe in a hot second.

Hmmmm, maybe I should call to book my first week of June trip and see if they tell me too. LoL

There ususally is some type of discount at WDW out there most times of the year, so book, if you don't like the discount you can always cancel. I'm sure the CM is just basing it on past history. You can check that out on Mousesavers.com for the historical info.

My rep was a guy, David maybe? I do have to admit that I booked a moderate hoping there will be a special promotion/discount. If not, I'll change back to Pop Century. We liked Pop, but if we can stay at a mod for around the same price, why not?
