Just switched to Pop from sports...whoohoo!!

Just switched to Pop from sports...whoohoo!! I wasn't able to get Pop Century with the "free dining plan" the week we were going so we had to settle for our 3rd choice - sports. Thanks to advice here - I decided to wait closer to the 45 day out mark and see if anything opened up - and it did! We got Pop Century, so now I need to get excited about it... we requested the 70's area. I think that looks good to me, but since we don't check in until about 7 PM on a Thursday, that means we probably won't get our request filled, right? Oh well - I think we'll have fun there wherever we're at!

Congratulations!!! We love POP and I hope that you have a great trip. I wouldn't worry about your request, from what I've read here they are usually done way before you get there anyway so it all evens out for everyone plus there is no bad area IMHO

Congrats! Pop is a fun resort no matter where you wind up. We were stuck in the 90's and still look back at our stay with positive and great memories!!! Just a tip - if you get stuck in the 90's, cut through the 70's parking lot to get to the bus stop. It's not that bad of a walk after all - lol! Just have fun and check out all of the courtyards - it's fun!!
