Just switched POP for POFQ 11/8-12!

Was so surpised to see POFQ come up for all 4 nights when nothing has been coming up except occasionally ASSp or a 2bdrm suite at CSR! It's Rack rate of course but am glad to find something in a moderate. While I like the price of POP, am not a fan.

So there may be an opening at POP for those dates now.

Lucky you! I've been trying for 11/10 to 11/13 at POR or POFQ for a month now!
I'm booked at ASMu! I really would love to change! I'm planning to make the best of it, but would love to change. What time of the day did you find availability or did you call?

I checked the web site this morning at 7:25 and there it was! The only alternative was All Star Sp. I called on it and CRO booked it. Then cancelled my old ressie. They couldn't do a change because the POP ressie was with the public code that expired.

Check first thing in the morning because if there are cancellations, I don't think the inventory is updated until off times at night.

I'm glad to not be at POP. I'm not even going to tell my DD as I've made so many changes, she's put out with me!

I was barely outside of the 5 day window to get my cancellation in.

Thanks for the tips...have a great time! Did they charge you any change fees or fees to ship your documents?
I'll really keep trying... I had seen those ASSp and CS suite rooms for availability too! Do you have any tips on the weather in November? I see you've been a lot at this time... I've only been once in November, (our Honeymoon 20 years ago, this is a last minute anniversary trip) and I remember it being somewhat hot. Is is cool enough that you need a sweater at night?

There was no change fee because I had a room only reservation. You can make changes up to 5 days out with no penalty. So if you are arriving the 10th, you can change up to 11/5 assuming you have a room only reservation.

If you have a package--room and tickets, they could charge a change fee but when you're spending more money, they usually waiver. And of course they charge for the difference in room. And it you had a room with a discount previously, it probably won't be available now.

November is a great time to go! Yes, take a light jacket for evenings. We even take light gloves. It will get to low 60s and maybe colder if a front comes in. Daytime will get to high 70s and low 80s. Some chance of rain but not like summer. Dress in layers and peel. Bring your poncho!
