not to trade but to keep and I was wondering if anyone has a way of wearing them that they would share with me.....I dont think I want to walk around with a lanyard.....

I am a "mature" woman and love disney and want to show off my pins on my trips.....

Thanks....and heaven help me now that I have discovered these pins!!!!!!!!

SOme people do hats - but remember to use only rubber backs if you do that.

There is always a vest, you can wear and show more, but pins can be heavy in large groups

Welcome to pins!

I don't wear a lanyard that much anymore but I do still wear a pin or two on my baseball cap or just one on my shirt.

Well welcome to the world of pins and another excuse at Disney to let the iner child in all of us show through a little more.

Ok, newbie question here: I've read this elsewhere, too - what is meant by "rubber back?!"

:confused3

Metal backs are the traditional types that have the small pinchers you squeeze to remove the back.

The rubber backs are solid pieces of rubber.

This picture from eBay item # 6509197629 shows both

my apologies to the seller, if they are reading, for borrowing their image

The metal type is in the center of the picture, and surrounding it are rubber backs. These are the ones called Mickey Head backs, but rubber backs come without the ears and also in different colors, but black is usually the norm.

They do tend to grip the post somewhat better and don't have prongs that will break off. Also, they're softer so that if you do wear pins on a hat they won't hurt your head.

Thanks for the education! I had no idea of such a thing, but these rubber backs certainly sound like they'd be more comfortable when one wears the pin.
I'm off to investigate further!
