Just standing in the background

Just curious has anybody ever found themselves or somebody they know standing in the background of pictures posted on this or any other Disney site??
Let us know.

Actually, we believe the man in the red t-shirt in this photo from the DIS Theme Parks section, is my husband. If its not, its his twin, complete with the same color red t-shirt and black strapped backpack worn on one shoulder.

He happened to be looking for a photo to use as a desktop, pulled this one up, and promptly freaked!

maybe people should start posting their pics here (the ones with crowds in the background only) and note the date the pic was taken in the TITLE bar and people can go and check out that particular day.

When we got back from a trip staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas, I posted some pics that we had taken, and then saw a thread that another DISer had posted with their pics and was surprised to find a couple of pictures of me taking pictures of the lobby!

This is what I mean. How many times do you really look at the background or the crowds. I think it would be neat to find myself or somebody I know.

Not here in pictures but, on a commercial for Universal Studios. During our trip in 2000 we went to Universal with friends. Two years later we were watching the Travel Channel about vacation spots when they were showing different parts of Universal and there was my DH and our friend. It was a random shot of people walking into the King Kong ride. But it was only the 2 of them. My DH just kept saying NO WAY, NO WAY. After researching our own videos and pictures, it had to be them. Same exact clothing and everything. We thought it was pretty cool. Wish we could have gotten a copy of the show.

This is a very interesting thread. I sometimes look at my WDW pictures and wonder, hmmm, I wonder who that person in the background is, where they live, etc....

The ones from long long ago make me wonder who in the pictures is still alive.

This is so weird that this thread got started. Just last night I had posted a picture and I wondered if the unknown person in the picture would be someone from the boards and see it.

(I actually gave it some thought because I don't know if I would want a picture of me standing there in my swim suit on the board. Luckily she looked great so I figured go ahead and post it!! )

How did you get the picture, that someone else took, that you were in? Did you catch it right away and then asked them for a copy to be emailed to you?

It is very funny how this thread is posted now! Just last night we were watching a video we tapped from last summer's vacation and I tapped random people... lol. It made me think, "they have no idea they are on a tape that will be a memory forever." That lead to me think, "how many pictures or videos am I randomly in?"

There are incredible amounts of pictures being taken daily at WDW, and I often wonder... who bought one of those ride photos where I look like a complete idiot and who is having fun poking fun at me, 'that random person' who becomes the spark for laughter lol? I know I have fun looking at our ride photos and there is always that one person whose expression is timeless! lol.

What a thought provoker!

Someone on another WDW message board was writing about how her DS got to ride with Goofy on Barnstormer and I responded that we were there on the same day and were waiting on the platform as Goofy was getting off the ride. She posted a photo of her DS with Goofy, and my DD and I were right there in the background.

Actually I'm usually the person that is in the foreground of your pictures and videos! Seems like I'm always walking along busy looking at the castle or something really interesting, then boom before I know it I'm standing right in the middle of someone's picture they are trying to take.

If I had $1 for every family picture I have ruined at Disney, then I would probably have enough money to take an extra Disney trip this year!

DH seems to think I have a special knack for walking right in front of cameras. Just like that special knack I have for touching a display in the store and having it fall down.

So if you see a 5' tall, 40yo lady looking slightly dazed in your photo's - well that's me!

They had posted it in a thread on the board, I asked if I could save a copy of it to my computer and they said OK.

I found a picture of my son and me in a WDW booklet that I bought in 1989. Our first trip was in 1987 and we are on the flloor of the American Adventure listening to the Liberty Singers.

I have never really checked pictures posted for what was in the background, only the main focus of the shots, I'll have to pay more attention to these pictures.
