This is the 3rd July (in '03) in a row that I have secured a standard view 1 bedroom for one week. That's 270 points vs. 222 points per year, a savings of 48/year or a 144 points total!
Of course, I'm looking at the front of the resort and not a great BW view. However, the point savings has allowed longer/more often/1 bedroom trips.
BTW, I called using the day by day method. Not a real inconvience since I have a speaker phone at work and calling is rather simple. With the weekend, you actually don't call seven days. (MS not open on weekend)
We usually stay at WL (will look for a good rate next spring) for a couple nights prior because we have secretly fallen in love with that resort. Maybe if I forced to spend 270 points, I'll reserve a week at WLV. For now, see you at BW next July.
