I guess I'd just approach her and ask if she could. It might be tricky to talk with her without your partner knowing, but that would be the only challenge.

If there is a CM nearby who seems to be working with the Princesses (I hate the term handler, makes them all sound like horses) you could ask that person to intervene.

LOL! It might work! It may be tricky, but maybe I can sneak off, or have her do something else while I go chat with Belle, and I agree, I hate the term Handler as well...always makes me go Huh? I will figure it out one way or another, I'm determined to make this romantic as possible and give her little bits of Disney magic everywhere. It's so funny when you plan that first trip with your partner how you start plotting "Ok we will eat here because that's their fave food, or because they like those characters, or we have to spend extra time in the U.K. at Epcot because that's her favorite country you know?

Wow! This is so cool to hear you think out loud...I remember my first trip with DP to WDW, I couldn't believe that she just let me pick and plan everything I wanted to do. I was so obsessed that I made flow charts and booked ADRs under each of our names so we could choose where we wanted to be whenever and we would cancel the one that we weren't going to do when we figured it out. We were up at the crack of dawn to catch the busses for EMH all that!

Thirteen years later we have so many physical issues, we're just happy to get to the parks, make our ADRs and hit a few shows while I'm able to still ride a couple thrill rides. Enjoy your youth and new found love while you can, not that you will lose the love, but boy the youth and ability to run around, get up early and all that vanishes as you get older and slower!

Sounds wonderful and you must report back so at least I can live vicariously through your newfound romance and passion. Not that it gets lost after many years, like a fine wine it ages and becomes more mellow.

franandaj: Awwww thank you. I think it's cool to share all my thoughts with you guys! I am VERY much a kid, that's what the GF loves about me, the innocence because she feels she lacks it, and by being with me I inspire it in her. I'm thinking since our first day {the 18th, the actual annv.} will be at Epcot and we will be doing Akershus I will have a typed letter from Belle lying there for her saying she has a surprise for her at lunch, can't wait to see her etc. I don't have a printer though, would anyone be willing to type it up for me {I can tell you what to write} and make it look very fancy and Princessish then drop it in the mail for me? I would so, so APPRECIATE it! Drop me a PM if anyone could do me that small favor. I will have to hit the florist the day before we leave and grab the rose or roses to take to Epcot, but I know I can keep them hidden from her N/P. Also since we are doing the Mary/Bert breakfast and that is her FAVORITE Disney movie I'd like to involve that somehow, so maybe also a letter from Mary and Bert I can set out the morning we plan to do that breakfast and then the MK? She has such a crush on Bert so I am so going to ask him to dance with her. Any little thing I can do to make my girl happy. I LIVE to make her happy. I will report back for sure, and anyone willing to help me with letters I would SO SO SO appreciate it. I would also love to make her a MP/Bert shirt, you know just a transfer off the printer onto the t-shirt and a Mad Hatter shirt for myself, if anyone would be willing to make them I coud pay the cost of the shirts, shipping etc. Just trying my best to make this special, and I KNOW shirts always get special attention and I want her to have that experince, so anyone willing to help PM me.

I want to post another pic of us with a great story behind it. I am a HUGE Deadliest Catch fan, and have been going to Epcot to see the guys from the Northwestern since 08, once in July of 08, then on my birthday in Dec of 08, and then I took my Mom back the day after my B-Day to meet them as a special treat as she had a stroke and is a HUGE fan also. I post on the NW forums, and the crew has become my second family. I send them care boxes every season etc. Well in 09 I got dumped by the x, and me and the GF started dating in May. I had been working for months, and months and months on a scrapbook for the crew and was very nervous about going and giving it to them, scared I wouldn't have a way there etc. My friend Mike said he would take me and the GF flew down to go be my moral support even though we hadn't been dating that long. I was a WRECK, it was hot, the first of August, and lugging this HUGE scrapbook along with bags of gifts and cards for Sig, Edgar and Matt. The GF made SURE I ate some sushi at the park even though I was a mess, the night before she helped me finish the scrapbook, she made sure I drank green tea at the park to stay hydrated, guarded my scrapbook like a bulldog when I went to the bathroom etc. When the time came and I got in line the guys recognized me, were thrilled to see me, bear-hugged me, told me "We've been waiting on you sweetie! We KNEW you'd be here." well I took bit long in line, a CM was going to haul me off but Sig said "Look, she's like family, we ALWAYS have extra time for her." that's when I pulled out the scrapbook. They freaked, made me sign it, and as we started to pose for pics Sig whispered behind my back to Edgar who grinned, then Sig said "Matt, grab her feet she's going up" and I thought "Um who's going Where?"

Well this is where I went.

Talk about priceless. Edgar then grabbed me, squeezed the life out of me, told me he still had the my little pony I had given him last year at his house and I was now officially part of the NW family. That's me being held up and my beautiful GF at the end next to Matt. Her and Mike even waited just so I could go back to the 6 pm signing again to chat with the guys.

Edgar is the one on the far left holding me up, he's the Deck Boss and youngest Hansen brother, in the middle is Sig, the Captain and oldest, and then Matt the deckhand, there's also Norman the middle Hansen brother, I have met him but he wasn't here this go-around.
