Finally I saw a somewhat celebrity at WDW!! As I was waiting outside of Beaches and Cream, I saw a blonde woman walk out of B&C and then go back in. I thought to myself that she looked like Buddy's wife, Lisa, but then put it out of my mind. Finally got seated and the waitress took my order. I noticed a table across from me with a bunch of kids and 2 women eating a kitchen sink. Again, I didn't think anything about it. Then I saw Buddy's sister, Mary, walk by. Well, that certainly got my attention! Then I realized that Buddy was sitting at another table with Lisa, Mary, and a few other adults as well as the baby. His other 3 children were the ones sitting at the table close to me. They finished up and left before I did.

As many times as I've been to WDW, I've never seen anyone famous just vacationing there, so it was exciting for me! When I left, I noticed that they were all out by the pool. Buddy was playing with his two sons, and they all seemed to be having a good time. People were leaving them alone, which was nice. I'd hate to be on vacation with my family only to be hounded by people.

And my Milky Way sundae was delicious!

That's cool. My dh does the greatest impression of him! It's sooo funny. I had heard he was going to be a celebrety chef for the F & W festival. But he was in October, and we won't be there until November...Dh would've loved it!

Good thing he wasn't baking :) his cakes are not all that good LOL. I've seen lots of Celeb's at WDW around the time of the Christmas Parade tapings. It's gotta be hard for them to have a good time and not be hounded by people.

It's not unusual to see these celebrity chefs around the Epcot resort area this time of year. This is where they usually stay. He is there for a Food & Wine presentation he is doing.

I've run into Top Chef contestants and some others before.

Ah, I wondered if it had something to do with F&W. I think Mary was the only sister I saw, and she was on her best behavior - LOL!! No one was yelling and screaming at anyone else, and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. His little boy who looked to be about 4 years old was the cutest thing. Blond hair and big blue eyes. Makes me wonder who his daddy is! Just kidding - my whole family has dark hair, dark eyes, and olive skin color, but I have one blond haired blue eyed niece. She takes after my sister-in-law.

OMG-I would have wanted to ask him for his autograph. Remember when he did the show called (I think) "The Next Great Cake Boss"? A few years ago, I was lucky enough to see Keegan Gerhardt, from (I think) "Challenge" doing a cooking demo. Yes, take a good look at the chefs you see, especially if you're a Food Network junkie, like me. What an honor to see him!

Keegan is usually there every year. I spoke with him last year at the PFTS. I was a pastry chef and we were discussing stuff. Very nice guy.

How cool! :thumbsup2 I still have you beat--last year we sat next to Erik Estrada at Rose & Crown. :lmao: It was funny, I had my back to him the whole meal and at one point I turned around and said to my SIL, "HELLO, did you not know that's Erik Estrada sitting there???" She didn't think it was him and I guess he saw us staring so she finally asked and he said yes, then I laughed and said, "I told her!" Everyone left his family alone and after we were all done eating he actually came over to our table and started making small talk with our husbands and we ended up taking some pics with him. Very nice guy!
