At about 5:15 this evening i hopped onto the ticketmaster website on a whim and lo and behold, there were tickets available for tonights show at the Nassau Coliseum!
I was in the process of ordering 2 tix in the nosebleed section and couldn't find my wallet, so i took too long to enter the info and lost the tix.
I tried again and this time, Row 2, seats 1 and 2!
WE WERE RIGHT UP AGAINST THE STAGE!:cool1:
DD7 was thrilled - to say the least.
Don't give up folks, the tix are out there - and not for $1500 bucks each, either!

OMG!!! how much did you get the tix for???

im going saturday and sunday and would love to get closer seats.

We do this for concerts at PNC in NJ. We start trying the night before. Seats can open up in the last few days. We were very close for Chicago once doing this. (DH is a huge fan of them)

Congrats!!!

This is exactly how we got our floor seats for the St. Louis Show in October and are being patient for the January show. I can't believe people pay those astronomical amounts for tickets. If people wouldn't pay that price then everybody could get their tickets through Ticketmaster at face value. Our society has done a wonderful job of creating the must-have-at-any-cost attitude that so many people have.

PATIENCE will pay off! Tickets will more than likely be available the day before or the day of any of these shows. Just keep checking!

Yes, I knew about the "ticket drop" that's why i went on.
Also, I was originally trying for 3 tix but then tried for only 2. A couple of different selections actually came up -some in lower level, some in upper level, then sometimes it would say there were no tix available when I just had a pair, so i kept going back and re-entering. :surfweb:
As I said earlier, I was settled on $23 tickets in the nosebleeds but lost them when my wallet went missing:rolleyes:. I looked at the printout - 5:47pm, we left our house at 6:01 and the concert started at 7!
No dinner:headache:, 45 minute drive, :car: find parking, Will Call line was insane:dance3:. Got dinner from the snack standpopcorn::.
Finally sat down to the Jonas Brothers at 7:20. :rockband:Some teenage girl from row 14 had thought she could take possession of our seats - :rolleyes1Um, No. Then this kid has the chutzpah to ask if she can keep her coat on my DD's chair - Um, No.
During the break I had to stand at the rail to save my DD's spot since so many had come from nowhere to stand there. :banana:I just made it clear that i didn't care where they were supposed to be sitting, so long as my DD had an unobstructed view. No problems. Fun was had by all. party:

What a frenzy over the Jonas Bros.!! :jumping1:- never knew a gaggle of pre-teen girls could scream so loudly.:scared1:
It was a cute show. I was disappointed that Hannah didn't do "Who Said" or "If We Were a Movie" - but DD didn't seem to mind.:thumbsup2

WOW - That's great!!!

I wanted Hannah to sing "if we were a movie" too!! My DD laughed when I told her that - I just think that is the cutest song!!!

That's great - I'm going to try throughout the day today to see if there are any for me :confused3 - maybe I'll get lucky too :wizard:

yeah!!!!!!!!!

We are going sunday.. I have 2 friends that need tickets so I am goign ot help them try. I just cant cut it that close since we are taking the 1pm train.. the show starts at 4

FYI... the Jonas brothers are going to be at the Rockaway Mall tomorrow incase anyone is close by.
