If your house can handle a new one, this is a great idea! We lost two in a matter of months once, and I dont think I could have coped without the help of a new pet to take my mind off of it!

Actually we have been feeding a stray thats been coming around since the winter - He is very skiddish and has never allowed us to get close enough to touch him - but the day that our Lenny was put to sleep this cat(call him Adam12 he's balck and white) let my DH pat him - kinda think its divine itervention from Lenny up above


So I believe shortly(by the end of summer) this cat will be living in our home.

And you are right adopting or taking in an animal in need is the best way to enlarge ones family - Both our Dogs and our 2 other cats either adopted or found strays.
