I hope this makes sense.
Can I just do a room booking and park tickets today and then 3 months from now add the dining plan to it. Or does it all have to be done at the same time. I want the dining plan but not sure if it is worth it for just yet.
The last time we had it and loved it but this time I am just not sure. We had the deluxe before and got our money's worth. I don't want the dining plan with QS and TS. I want to sit down at a restaurant for meals. Our family loves character breakfast in fact we love them so much we did them every single day last time for breakfast, ( YES I understand that is not for everyone) but our family it is. Our son loves to meet and talk with the characters every morning and that is how the days starts.

I just got a room for my Jan trip. I just ordered tickets from Undercover tourist. We plan to add on the dining plan in Dec. If you book the tickets then it becomes a package and the total is due 45 days out.

If you buy park tickets like that can you still do fast passes at the 60 day mark? Then when would have to pay the balance in full without the "package"

If you're staying onsite (for now) the 60 FP is a perk. It doesn't matter where you buy your tickets.

Just wanted to mention that balances on packages are due 30 days prior to arrival. In addition, you can't add the DDP to a RO reservation. If you plan to get the DDP, the RO will have to be cancelled/refunded and a (ticketless) package booked, requiring a new $200 deposit (or payment in full if you are 30 days or less from arrival). Since RO and packages are different reservation systems, money paid toward one cannot be applied to the other.

Balances on RO reservations are due at check in. If you aren't sure you want the DDP but need tickets, I'd book it as a package. If you book just the room now and buy tickets separately, adding the DDP later will require your RO reservation to be cancelled/refunded and a package (room + DDP) booked (requiring a new deposit or payment in full, depending on how far out your trip is at that time).

I guess I should of said book today for 10 months out, I really don't understand what you are saying at all. What does RO mean?
im going to try to guess if I book a room only RO? then in 3 months from now I want to add Disney dining plan I would have to cancel my room only reservation and start all over again?
