We just returned early this morning thanks to getting stuck in ATL airport.
We stayed the 10-20 at POR and the resort is still beautiful peaceful and I was happy to be there. We did have some slight issues with mousekeeping but we called front desk and the issues were solved.
Day 1 we went to Animal Kingdom and rain came down for about 30 minutes and it was pouring. We got rain ponchos for the rest of the week after that. We didn't ride EE because we don't like rides like that. But, Safari and Rapids were maybe 5-10 minutes, if not less!
Day 2 Epcot raining in the morning but finished by afternoon. We toolk some great photos in the chara spot the wait was about 20 minutes but we got alot of characters all in one spot! We spent most of the day playing at innoventions and that was a blast. We did venture over to do some Kim Possible missions. That was lots of fun too. It's amazing how they get everything to interact together. We also did Test Track for the first time ever! They sign said the wait for 40 minutes but it seemed alot faster than that.
Day 3 Magic Kingdom has low crowds. We arrived at 10ish and rode Pirates, Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder in the first half hour. It was great! We took lots of pictures and just took our time walking around. We left for a few hours and came back for dinner reservations. We rode Buzz, Haunted Manison, Big Thunder 2 times each after dinner then found a spot for fireworks. The trees were a problem where we were but we didn't like the idea of wasting time by sitting and waiting for a good spot. :confused3
Day 4 DHS we weren't that impressed with this one in the past so we took the morning off and did some laundry and pool time. We arrived around 1 walked around did Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror. Watched some street actors who were great, funny and clean for the family. Had dinner at Mama Melrose and returned for TSM and EMH. We left shortly after that.
I have some more details but that's for part 2 I need to get laundry and all done now. Hope this quick review helps a little anyway! Good luck and have fun to who ever leaves next!!!! :thumbsup2
