Cape May - We love this place for the crablegs. However this time we were disappointed. The crablegs would not crack properly = too much work to enjoy them. Some were soft; most split the meat & the shell had to be split with a knife. We went twice & was the same both times. Note - Our server said the Strawberry Shortcake dessert is going to be discontinued! Why do "they" get rid of the favorites?
MK Pecos Bills - We always eat there at least once. DH & I got the cheeseburger & fries and also a taco salad. We split both so we each could have the variety. Love the works bar. We loaded up from it & made everything yummy - at least we think so.
Boardwalk Bakery - Thanks to this board we enjoyed the lobster rolls. Loved the strawberry cupcake & the sticky buns. Didn't like the cannoli - bland & dry.
MK Starbucks - Love that Iced Lemon Loaf (snack credit)!
Poly Dole Whip - Love this too. We left MK & decided to Dole Whip at Poly because we could "build" our own - love that! We shared.
DHS Writers' Shop Carrot Cake Cookie - Know this is a favorite, but we did not like it. Not much flavor in the cake or the cream. Didn't taste like carrot cake or cream cheese icing that we have at home.
Rain Forest Cafe, DTD - Love the Pastalaya! We get it everytime. Sooo good!
Boardwalk Ice Cream Shop (forgot the name) - They have Cookie Dough ice cream which we like. Got 2 scoop waffle cone for 1 snack credit - great deal! We enjoyed.
Boma - Went for Breakfast - 8:30am on Wed 2/12. Wow! Was almost empty! Actually got an omelet - usually the wait is way too long. This time the ham was yummy - last time it was dry. The little Mickey waffle was great - crunchy on outside & airy/soft on inside. Bacon of course was the usual Disney "paper" thin bacon. That's all we ate there. We enjoyed our meal.
That's it. Had a good time. Was short trip just to get away from the snow for a few days. But drove home from airport in snow storm with white-out. DH used the snow thrower today - will it never end this winter?????
