Just Returned. Restaurants by Rank.

Yes, I had the cheese soup. Yummmy!!!

My DH got the duck 3 ways instead of the soup. Two of the duck dishes were pretty good but one was awful. I guess it was duck pate. Yuk!

I'm glad to hear that. I'm happy just to have their cheese soup and bread sticks, though I'll eat the steak too.

I'm kind of surprised Boma was so far down your list - and behind 50's prime time and Y & Y??? Looks like you had a great line-up though!

Oh, I liked Boma too! I guess the reason it's so far down the list is because we did breakfast instead of dinner. Breakfast isn't my favorite meal. However, the goat cheese and eggs were really good! I would definitely like to try Boma for dinner. I bet it's awesome.

Hello! :yay: it was so nice to meet you too! I am so glad you cmae over and talked to us! my parents got a kick out of the fact someone recognized me from the boards!
glad you loved the cheesecake!
we have never tried Jiko, and I am curious about the wave, so we will have to put those on our list for next time!

I see that Le Cellier is number one, as expected. The food looks amazing. And I cant wait to go and try it, we just have to get a booking first which is easier said than done.

Wow, you sure dined at alot of great places. We also dined at Le Cellier, California Grill, Jiko and Raglan Road in March. We enjoyed them all.

My DH and I have just returned from our fabulous week on the DxDP. Let me just say that we did NOT have a bad meal or bad service on this trip. I was very impressed with all the places we dined. The service and the food was wonderful. Here are the places we ate in order by favorite to least favorite:

1. LeCellier
2. California Grill
3. The Wave
4. Jiko
5. Kona
6. Chefs de France
7. Narcoosees
8. Raglan Road
9. Yak & Yeti
10. 50's Prime Time
11. Boma
12. Captain Cooks
13. Sunshine Seasons
14. The Brown Derby

Any questions, just ask!

Did you see Remy at Chef De France? Also what did you eat? What do you recommend?

Yes, we saw Remy. He's just adorable! My DH had an amazing flatbread. Tomatos with goat cheese. I ate half of it! I had the ham and cheese sandwich and my husband had the chicken crepe. Our server did an excellent job. I would not hestiate to return!
Glad to hear you got to see Remy! Also thanks for the food suggestions. :)

Sorry, I didn't take pics. Brown Derby wasn't a bomb. It was just my least favorite. I had the short rib and it was lukewarm. I also had the cobb salad and it was just mushy. However, my husband's food was wonderful. He had coconut shrimp and salmon. For dessert, I had grapefruit cake and it was bitter. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake and it was really good. I guess it just depends on what you order? The service was wonderful and so was the atomsphere.

ah, okay, thank you!!!:goodvibes

I was unfortunately disappointed in the BD Cobb Salad last trip as well:confused3the lettuce was shredded to the point of being almost mush and the greeen goddess dressing very salty. DH and DS had a steak which was wonderful. the bread and butter very good. no one wanted to eat there again when we go in a week, so we're trying TRex and BOMA as our new entries. I'm sure we'll like both:goodvibes
