Sorry for not replying sooner, been a bit hectic here.
JOTHP I'd recommend watching Dreams in front of the flower beds which are in front of the castle, around the central circle- so nooone can stand in front of you.
wvulion- (you can't help it with Disney once you've been trained to notice detail, right?).
YOu're so right. It drives my family mad that I'm so obervant and obsessive about detail at Disney.
Loladelorean- the VIP area area is directly in front of the castle, just before the main circle surrounded by flowers beds, on the left of Main Street, to the right of the little building they had made to store the Dreams computers etc.
DLP DReams- last time we went our hotel room looked faded and jaded- there was a broken tile in the bathroom. The bathroom in general was grubby. The bed cover was stained and the view was poor. I had rung up in advance to ask for toys to be placed on the boys' beds and had stated I didn't mind paying. They put one toy on one bed, and the other son got nothing! They were surprised when i asked for a second toy, again i explained I was happy to pay.
At check in I'd explained we need a room with a kingsize bed and sofa bed, as we needed lots of room for my youngest son's travel cot, and my eldest son couldn't have a normal bed as it was too high and he'd fall out, but we were given a room with 2 double beds and had to change rooms.
It just wasn't worth the money imo.
We had been used to excellent customer service at HNY where we'd been treated as honoured guests- we'd been offered an upgrade to a suite on our previous stay, and had always been given toys/ flowers without phoning in advance. Once we were given champagne and Mickey and Minnie wine glasses, free of charge! We found our welcome to the DLH on our previous stay to be poor by comparison.
Johnnysharp2 that's what i love about Disney- they treat DS so brilliantly and give him lots of attention. It's fab that he can have a chance to be fussed over by the characters. He laps it up!!
