Just returned from WL

We had a great 6-night stay at the Wilderness Lodge. When we first arrived, I missed AKL a little. (We love that resort, too. I think I have an attachment to AKL because it was our first deluxe and such a great experience.) However, it only took about a day before we fell in love with this resort, also. We absolutely loved the proximity to MK. The lobby was beautiful, or course. The rooms were comfortable and our woods view was great (upgraded from standard). There was no refrigerator in our room. We called housekeeping and it was delivered VERY quickly. (same with the baby crib). We really enjoyed the pool and the kids loved the slide! The staff was very helpful. The housekeeping was good. My DD takes a nap somewhere between 12:00 & 3:00 each day. The housekeeping made sure that our room was cleaned by noon each day. (I did have to call request it each day, though).

The bus service was good. We did not care much for the boat transportation to MK. We thought the bus was much faster. We would definitely stay there again. We loved it!

Hi! We'll be arriving at WL in 2 weeks and I have a question about the crib. Was it a real crib or a pack n play? When we stayed at WL in October last year we were given a pack n play, which was fine for my infant daughter. Now, at 14 months, she really needs the crib. I'd love to know which you received. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed my favorite resort! AKL is my second favorite, BTW! Did you get a chance to eat at AP or WCC? What were your opinions?

I LOVE the boat ride to MK! It is so scenic! I also like taking to boat to FW and doing the petting zoo and pony rides...or taking the boat to CR and riding the monorail!

Yes, WL is a very special place. Good to hear such great things about it!

Same here. The kids and I prefered the bus over the boat. The bus is so much faster! And the bus stop at MK is the first one in the bus load/unload area. Love it!

It was a pack-n-play. Our DD is 22 months and it worked fine for us. They do offer bed rails, also.

We ate at WCC twice. We loved it. The first time our server wasn't all that out-going, but we still had a great time. Our second visit was a HOOT! We laughed so much. It was great! We will definitely go back there!
