It's sad to say but we are home from our trip. Eight of us spent 9 days in a two bedroom unit room 541 of the BCV.
Not much of a view but close enough to the elevators.
Our trip didn't start out great but Disney was super in fixing our small troubles.
First when we entered the room I went straight to the bathroom and the light didn't work. When I came out i grabbed the remote for the tv. (gotta watch the cool WDW channels) The batteries were dead in the remote. However, a call downstairs and some one was in the room in less then 10 minutes to fix it. Besides that small setback no other troubles.
My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom with our 1 year old daughter in the pack n play. Our 3 year old daughter slept with us in the king size bed. Our daughter never sleeps with us in bed so she liked the special treatment. After this week I know why she never sleeps with us. I discovered that it must be very relaxing for a child to sleep with the heel of her foot inbedded between 2 of my ribs.
Don't want to make this too long....we had great weather (rained a couple of times but never interfered with our plans)
Ate way to much food and fell in love with beaches and cream. and yes you can get almost anything on the menu to go.
Starting the count down for the next trip!!!!

Great trip report! We love Beaches and Cream too, but the lines are always HORRIBLE there!

Glad you had a good time! Did you go to Stormalong Bay? How was the water temp? (we arrive May 9, and I like my water warm, since I am a wimpy Floridian!)

We do the same thing -- my DD 22 months sleeps in a crib and my DD 4 sleeps with us in the king size bed of a 1 Bedroom at BWV. After the second night we began to call DD4 "The Windmill" because of her 360 degree revolutions in bed!:D

I just returned as well. Stayed in 554 2 bdrm. Had an extra balcony and a great view of the pool, close to the elevators and the recycling. Crowds were minimal, Stormalong bay was great.

We have twin 3 year olds and the pool was perfect. I could drink my cocktails and watch them from my lounge chair why they played in the sandbar pool ( 2 feet deep). We would then head over to the kiddie pool and slide and goof around why they enjoyed the waterslide.

Next time we go back we are heading the BCV!

Sorry it took me so long to reply......had to return to work :(
I'll try to answer the questions that were posted.

1. jodifla
I thought the water temp was fine. It felt very warm to me. However I live in Delaware and it was almost 30 degrees colder when we left, so anything felt warm.

2. Lexxiefern
We had a garden view room 541. Its in the corner so to our right was the rest of the BCV. Straight ahead we could see the tops of the BW. To our left was EPCOT, but could not see the fireworks.

3. senecabeach
The walk to EPCOT was fine, not long at all. 5 minutes tops. However the walk to MGM is much longer its almost 1 mile. One of the guys working on the boats said its a mile and a quarter from the international gateway to the entrance to MGM.

4. DVCDawn
Yes my daughter was the same way. She sleeps like shes mad at the bed. "flipper" it what I was calling her all week.

Glad that you had a fun trip!

We will be there for the first time in just a few days!
