Just returned from POP...

We got back Sun night from my first stay ever on WDW property and my first trip to WDW since I was like 3....

Just wanted to say POP was wonderful, we had an awesome stay w/ absolutely no complaints. My family loved it. If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to oblige!

We loved the building, we were in a preferred room...60's building room 5349, our room wasn't overlooking anything but a courtyard...it was quiet but absolutely close to everything.

My kid's favorite thing was the Hippie Dippy pool, my husband was most impressed w/ the bus service, and mine was the pool bar (The Pina Colada's were prettty darn good....)

Housekeeping was great, Aida was our housekeeper...we didn't get any towel animals, except one that was in the window when we got there...but that was absolutely okay.

I asked for extra towels the first day and after that, she brought them everyday...I asked for a mat for the tub (b/c it felt a little slippery), she brought it right away...the room was always really clean.

We had an awesome stay!

Oh, it sounds perfect! We found out about the Pina Colada's on a first stay at the POP shortly after it opened A girls only weekend (adults) - we would grab one after returning from a park in the evening and stroll back to the room - it was Feb and freezing so too cold to sit outside...and we had not found the inside lounge..anyway, those Pina Colada's are great!

Sounds like a lovely housekeeper - so thoughtful! We have had most like that too.

It's hard to have a bad time at WDW

It was our first family WDW vacation also, and we had an absolute, totally wonderful trip! I'm sure you will have as much fun too!

I enjoyed my stay last year at Pop. My room was always clean when we got back at night. Even restocking the soap and shampoo every day. We didn't get towel animals (didn't know about them beforehand) but that was no biggie nor a "deal-breaker"...

We will be there in 13 days with 3 boys ages 7,8, and 10. Sounds like they will have a great time at the hotel as well as the parks! I am even more excited when I hear these great reviews! Thanks for reporting!

I know the soap was H2O, I'm not sure about the shampoo, because I brought my own (we had to have lots of conditioning w/ swimming everyday).
