I just returned yesterday from the POFQ, and I *loved* it! I am a Poly fan, so I was very reticent to change to a moderate. But the atmosphere of the POFQ was very nice and the staff was wonderful!
The only difference I could find between the Poly and the POFQ was: only one gift shop, only one restaurant, and tile instead of marble in the bathrooms. Oh, and the elevator needed to be swept out. Big whoop!
As much as I love the Polynesian theme, I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth $1,000 more (six nights) than the POFQ!
Oh, and when I checked in, I asked about the refrigerators. The CM told me that there was a very long waiting list, so I told her not to worry about it, since I brought a very nice cooler. Well, first thing the next morning, a CM showed up at my room with a fridge! Free of charge!
And FYI, when I was on the bus passing the PO Riverside, I saw a big truck delivering lots of little fridges, so they *are* in the process of installing them in the rooms.
I'm rambling here, but remember to visit John, the bartender at the pool at POFQ. He's very nice, and has been there for around 12 years!
