we just returned home yesterday (aug 22, 2011) from a five night cruise to the Bahamas on the Dream. This was the first time we have ever taken a cruise...and I have to say it was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it...we booked an Alaska cruise for next year! My only complaint was too long of lines to take pictures with the charectors. I think they should do a fast pass or sign up for periods of time to line up. We waited...and waited and always had to leave the line for dinner or excursions...so we never got pics with the chars for our son :(:scared1::cool1:

We were on the same cruise and I agree, the picture lines were crazy! I finally got character pictures on the last day at Castaway when we walked off the ship-managed to get Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy (passed Stitch at Post Office). We had gotten Donald Duck the first Castaway stop when returning to the ship (no photographer, we had to take our own).

On previous cruises there were more backdrops too (and more stations). I bought the CD but wish there were more taken. They didn't even take pictures on the last night. :confused3 This Shutters staff was the most unhelpful I've encountered in 7 cruises.

CD was $249. For the record, my immediate family had 2 cabins. I was traveling with a group of 20 total over 8 staterooms. Three of us ordered the CDs. There are pictures on each of the CDs of each other's families (we had taken a few group pictures), but not all of them. Strangely, all my parents pictures are on my CD but none of my brothers are, except the ones we're in too. Then we have random pictures from our 2 family friends of just them.

Also, if you have 2 cabins you need to order the CD from the Kiosk and then tell a Shutters castmember what your second room number is so that they'll include both cabins (I actually received 2 seperate CDs, one for each cabin). They really need a sign stating that CDs can only be ordered through the kiosk after I waited in a long line only to be told this (and I wasn't alone). Pick up the departure day was easy (for the CDs) there is a seperate table at the back of Shutters with envelopes containing CD orders only. You'd still have to wait on the regular line to pay for packages or pick up reprints.
