Just returned from BCV's

We just got back from a seven night stay in a 2 bedroom villa. The only requests we made were for no smoking and a dedicated 2 bedroom. We got the dedicated 2 bedroom, but not one with 2 queen beds. But we were told when we made the request that it looked like none were available. We were in #277. The room was clean and we had no complaints about it. We were at the end of the building by the parking lot. It was the first unit after entering from the stairs, so when we took the car anywhere it was very easy to get to. It was a much longer walk to go to SAB or to the walkway to Epcot, but with all the food we ate on the dining plan, we just looked at it as being able to walk it off a little bit more! The walk really didn't bother us at all. We were on the Epcot side and we had an excellent view of the high fireworks from Illuminations, and could see a lot of the lower ones through the trees. We could hear it as well. We could even hear the Beatles performers during the day,when we stopped by the room.

For future reference, if you want the 2 queen beds in the dedicated 2 bedrooms at BCV, you have to book that category when you make your reservation.

We learned this too late, when we did call to make the request (months after our initial reservation) they were all taken, at least we know for the future.

We were there at the same time! We were in a 2 bedroom on the 4th floor, at the oposite end of the building.

It was a great week. Beautiful weather and not too busy!

I was wondering, as I was walking around, if anyone from these boards was there, and I just didn't know it. We did bump into a familly from our home town we knew from little league a few times!

We just returned too. We were in a dedicated 2BR on the 5th floor, overlooking the pool. It was so great! We normally stay in a 1BR but DS brought along his GF so she had the pullout in the LR & our 2 sons stayed in the 2nd BR. It was awesome having so much space! The weather really held out for the most part too.

I also wondered about other DISers. I did chat with a fellow DISer at SAB, we never mentioned our names though! (I scared the heck out of the her poor husband when one of those aggresive squirrels (who have no fear of humans!) literally dove on the lounge chair next to me. We had such a wonderful week, it sure gets harder & harder to leave.

DH, DS14 and I were also there this past week 8/20-26 (after VWL 8/12-17 and AKL 8/17-20)
Had a studio room on the EpCot side up on the 4th floor - great for seeing Illuminations and then turning around at 10pm to see Wishes
Saw many many many Off Kilter shows (ran into a DISer at 1 of them)

Did anyone else notice that SAB had to close Wed afternoon? I had just gotten there so turned around and went to the quiet pool.

There were many of us Disers there last week, at least three on the fourth floor! Hope you all had better accomodations!
Someone posted that there were "floaters" as they called them a couple of times at SAB. We were only there Sunday and shortly Friday before the rain.
