We just got in this afternoon. The worst part was ME picked us up at 3:15am (2:15 our time) for our 6:00 flight. Still recovering. Our first 5 nights we were in 261 a dedicated, nonsmoking studio room at BCV. View was of the service road. We were spoiled after getting a pool view our first stay, but I prefer not to make requests and just take what I get. I was surprised that the road noise really didn't bother us and we were right across from the elevator. I was convinced that BCV was going to be our favorite from now on. We are huge pool people and spent every afternoon enjoying the sun. We also loved the new Marketplace with the self serve mug station and the easiness to Epcot. Then we moved over to BWV for our last 5 nights which was surprisingly simple. We had packed the clothes we were wearing during the latter part of the stay in a separate suitcase and also put everything we had worn in a dirty clothes bag. We had very few clothes items to repack and threw the nonperishable groceries into the empty suitcase. We planned a water park on moving day so we were not in a rush to get out. We walked over and checked into BWV before heading out to TL. We returned about 3:15 and the room wasn't ready until about 4:15. We looked through the shops and restaurant menus then hung out on the porch till we could get in the room. We were in 1105 a standard, nonsmoking, dedicated 1 bedroom. I wasn't sure that I would like being on the ground floor, but ended up really liking the convenience of getting to the BW, pool, community hall and bus stop. DH and DD got confused after coming from the lobby and tried to enter 2105 one night, but realized the error pretty quickly. :rotfl: We loved BWV again. The access to the BW activities was wonderful and DD enjoyed renting DVDs from community hall. 10 days was perfect. We had a very relaxing time and have decided to continue to split our stays between BCV & BWV. Both rooms were in great shape and we were very pleased. Let me know if you have any questions.

It sounds like you had a great trip! We are trying a split stay on the second DVC trip for us in August. Thanks for sharing the magic with us :)

Thanks for the report!!

I have to agree with you on splittling stays. I think the best way to experience BCV is to split it with another DVC. I know in the future, we will split between BCV and SSR. We get the best of both worlds that way.

I hate to move, but the DVC's have so much to offer, that it is worth it.

Thanks for the nice report! :sunny:

Reports like these make us even more excited about our 9 day June trip. :hyper:

We've only used our membership 3 times. I would love to try BW or BC, but they are always all booked. Maybe in October. I won't be able to borrow points until June 1, but I'm hoping that if not a studio, they will at least have a 1 bedroom.

Hi there! Glad you enjoyed your trip, thanks for your post.

Rigsby25, good luck in booking BCV or BWV in October. This is Food and Wine Festival time. These resorts books solid for the F&WF. Depending on when you go in October you may have a very hard time booking your ressie. Your only chance would be to book day by day at the 7 month mark. I am assuming that your home DVC resort is other than BCV and BWV. Good luck!

Sounds like you had a great vacation.

That makes two of us. We are waitlisting for BCV to do just that spend the weekend at BCV and hang out at the pool and hit Epcot then the week at SSR. Our two favorite spots are Epcot and DTD so you cannot lose!
