Just returned from BCV 2br

I just got back from a week trip to WDW staying at BCV. We had a dedicated 2br that had a good view of Spaceship Earth from our master bedroom. The weather as most of you know was very hot. The resort is in better shape than it was in October of 2002. The service was fantastic. SAB was crowded and enjoyable. The parks were crowded as well.

Thanks for posting. We'll be there, this time next week, staying in a 2BR lockoff! Question....we're planning on going back, just about every day, to swim, rent boats, relax, etc...you mentioned SAB being crowded. What do you think my chances are of getting a chair around noon-1pm?

In December I had the 2 bedroom that was overlooking the stream that goes under the resort and the quiet pool.It was a great room.We had the dedicated villa with a porch that streatched across all three rooms.

As my 3 1/2 year old son who said hello to Arial everytime going in and out our room was 352. It was dedicated with 2 queen beds. I got all the requests I wanted when I booked this 11 months ago. I got there at 11 am and had to wait until 1:45 pm to get the room. Not too bad. We suffered by having lunch at Beaches and Cream. Life is tough when you are at WDW.

My son cried several times about missing his Disney home today.

That is the main reason I am a DVC member. Because of him and his kid sister.

Memories with family. Magical, I don't know, but tremendous memories might be more realistic.

Sgtpet: Thanks for the room report. We are booked for a 2-bed lockoff in Oct. I hope I made the right decision w/ the lockoff. My father is coming for a few days in the middle of our trip and I thought it would be nice if the 2nd bedroom had the mini-kitchen...just to impress him...lol. After he leaves DH's cousin and husband are coming for a few days....same plan. Thanks for the positive comments on BCV!

Glad to hear you had a good (if hot) time! I know many here will be glad to hear you had great service.

For those who get concerned by negative reports, it seems that from time to time every resort goes through a series of posts that would lead you to suspect your resort has suddenly fallen into the Twilight Zone. While I don't doubt that these people have had problems, I find that usually I get myself all upset about the postings I've read and when I get to the resort I have the same (or even better) time than I've had in the past.

Take the negative comments into consideration but don't let them drive you crazy.
