My wife and daughter just returned from a 3 night cruise. They had a wonderful time with the exception of the first evening. My wife got sick, she said that the seas were so rough it was difficult to just walk down the hallways. She got very sick had to miss dinner and my daughter had guest services bring her some nausea meds. Fortunately by 10 pm they were on smoother seas and she never had another problem. The cast members and other travelers said that that rough of a ride was rare. She was wearing a patch but it was so rough that it didn't help. I'm really glad it was as shortlived as at was.
On the positive she said that she was just amazed at how well they take care of you on the cruise. The man taking care of their room made some incredible towel animals and freshened up the room every time they left. We are DVC members and she received multiple DVC logo merchandise from guest services. They enjoyed the meals and Castaway Cay and the laidback time they had on the boat. She said the shows were very good, they liked Golden Mickeys better than Toy Story, but enjoyed both. Again I don't think I can over emphasize how wonderful the CM interaction was. She's not a Dis'er so I that I'd share some of the thoughts she relayed to me.
