Just returned Disney Fantasy April 16, 2022

These are concerning to me. I am mostly okay to the return to normalcy. No masks, self-serve buffets, and the like. But, I do think it is still prudent to exercise somewhat reasonable caution.

To me, a packed Walt Disney Theatre is exercising absolutely zero reasonable caution.

Uggggh.

I agree. I think they’re doing it too fast too. Like, wearing a mask for 90 minutes isn’t going to ruin your vacation.

Was on the same cruise. Overall enjoyed it but I did wear a mask anytime I was in the theatre.
I miss the spacing. Definitely noticed more people than cruise last year. Even my husband and
kids remarked on it. It was nice to see people smiling laughing and having a good time again.
I felt that energy was missing on our last cruise.

Taylor Mason - very funny ventriloquist/entertainer
Eric Jones - magician (was on AGT)
Moonshot - a cappella group in mains theater

Musicians around the ship:
Jordan castwell - violinist (young and very talented)
Bernadett - pianist
Wick and charm - female duo singing/playing piano

We have had Yoyo and AJ every night in the adult club hosting the activities there as a team. They are very funny. Lots of trivia, animation classes, bingo has been packed and people sitting on the floors. We have not had a moment where we couldn’t find something to do or see. Turning red was shown in the Walt Disney theater on pirate night. The movies have been turning red, encanto, dr strange, eternals.

Nice I don't know them but funny is good! My travel partner is all about the triva! Animation class sounds good! Thanks for all the info!

I had preordered the mug. The glass one was unavailable but they gave me a plastic one and a voucher for my first refill completely free. I thought it was a fair compromise. I was pretty much the only person onboard with one.

Was the plastic one still the same size as the glass one?

There was no help setting up your phone with the navigator once we got on board. However I did see people assist at the guest services desk.

I also had my phone settings set by GSD, twice. But they still couldn’t find how my phone kept using data. They kept refunding (3x) the small plan that I purchased with a little extra data, in case I got an emergency call. I’m still concerned that next month I’ll have the same issues but not be able to get the refund on the package overages that they can’t determine how to stop.

From what I understand, the larger plastic beer are available for consumption.
What is not is the souvenir glass beer mug, that you could bring home.

I have this question as well. Does anyone from a recent Fantasy sailing know who the musical guests were aboard the ship?

There were some singing groups and a pianist who were in the atrium at various times, and they were all quite good. We also saw a close-up magic show (Eric Jones), and he was excellent.

Did you log out of the ConnectAtSea page every time? I activated the free 50MB but didn't log out... it was gone by the next day even though I hadn't used it at all. Fortunately the guest services person was very knowledgeable, gave me very clear instructions to log out each and every time, and gave me another 50 MB free.

I’m not sure. I have always had the package, always had the up-to date app on the phone before I board. I ask tech support (this time guest services) before we head up to sail away. Make my entire party hand over their phones. To be honest I can’t remember if I did that with Disney or Royal Caribbean but seems like I did it????
