Just returned from our second visit to CPGV. We also stayed at CP March 05. Great trip - as usual. Any questions?

Thanks
Kathy

I am finally staying there in Dec, 06.

any tips.

any rooms better than others.

I have a 1-bedroom but I am traveling solo - or at least that is the plan at this time.

If you want a pool view - we were in building B unit 38A (2 bedroom) and all the even numbered units faced the pool. Unit B is near the Turtle Pool. I'm assuming all buildings are this way. It is only a 2 blocks to Winn Dixie if you need to purchase groceries. There is a backway from CP/CPGV so you don't even need to go back out to the main road. There is also a liquor store and Papa John's pizza in the same shopping plaza. CPGV has elevators in all buildings so that will be helpful if you are on an upper floor.
If I remember correctly you are traveling with pet(s)? There are a few nice grassy areas to walk if you need them.
Enjoy!

Enjoy!

There are no pets allowed at either Cypress Pointe resort.

Hi can you tell me if there are hair dryers in CPGV? I read somewhere that you have to bring your own. Also was there any timeshare sales presentation pressure? Thanks.

I brought my own and didn't see any in the unit. We received one call regarding a tour - we didn't return the call and we not contacted again.

Enjoy your stay!

Did you eat at some off site restaurants and if so, which ones and what did you think?

How warm/clean were the pools? What is the turtle pool like compared to the other one?

We are going over Tday and would love any advice you have. We went last year in Feb, but don't remember all the details : )

All 3 pools were very clean. According to my swimmers in the group (DD11 and DD8) the turtle pool was the warmest. The volcano pool has 3 small slides at one end, while the turtle pool is just a "regular" pool in the shape of a turtle! There were never many people using it this weekend.

We ate at Chevy's (Crossroads) and Bahama Breeze (Little Lake Bryan - just down the street past Crossroads) this trip. Both were enjoyable. We also had a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast on our way to the airport Monday morning.

Don't forget to get your WinnDixie card when shopping - it will help you save a few $$$. You can walk from the resort if you are only purchasing a few items - but bring the car if you are stocking up!

I know Spicey will be at FW (short drive from CP).

Hi Pat - I hope Spicey enjoys the trip, too! Please post when you get back - I'm interested in the 1 bedroom for my parents this coming spring. I hope you enjoy CPGV as much as we did! Say hi to Charlie in the lobby for us.
