Had such a great time we're ready to book for October. I wasn't able to get my brother a site for this latest trip so he wants to join us in October. Any way we can get buddy ( side-by-side) sites? Also, although we loved the cucina pad offered in the preferred site,
the site was just a bit too narrow,so we're gonna book a premium site for the larger pad and forfeit the cocina next time.

In order to get both parties close to each other you will have to "link" both reservations together through the Disney reservation system. This will not guarantee to be side by side but will greatly improve your chances.

As Corgidad stated, you can link your reservations and they will try and get you close to each other. There are no buddy sites at the Fort. If two people are leaving the same day you arrive and they are side by side you may get lucky. You may be in the same loop only, you may be in two different loops that adjoin each other.
Others have been in the same loop when camping with family.

Totally OK with the same loop... Just as long as we're somewhat close together .

Our DS and family have met us 3 times at the fort, we have always lucked out and got the same loop. Pro tip, we both call the front desk a couple times at 3 weeks and 1 week prior to request it. Its Disney, they like to do the Magic thing!
