Just renewed my AP + Buzz scoring news

I called AP relations to renew my AP about 30 minutes ago (woo hoo!). Signature + MaxPass was $1074 out the door. I don't like doing the monthly payment thing. I try to carry as little debt as possible. After that was taken care of, they transferred me to someone who would log my issue about the Buzz scoring. For the past few weeks, scores have not come through with pix at the end of the ride most of the time and the problem has grown progressively worse (I believe last Weds only one of my eight scores came through). Part of this problem is that you don't get to claim credit for your scores when they're in the top ten. There's also the issue of exceeding 2,096,000 after which riders' scores are reset. Hopefully these problems will be corrected soon. As I say, the problem has been growing steadily worse over the past few weeks.

I'll be at the park on Sunday (of course) and hope to report that the problem has been corrected, although I think that unlikely :-(.

Glad your renewal went smoothly and was relatively painless -- if anything over $1000 can be called "painless"! We also pay everything up front on our passes. Our APs are a major luxury, so we saving up and paying at once helps us to take the responsibility seriously and to remember to appreciate the privilege more. Plus, that "ouch" at the ticket booth isn't easy to forget throughout the year. It keeps us mindful of our Disney investment and that we need to take good care of it accordingly. Good for you for reporting the problem with the Buzz scoring. Keep reporting this if it doesn't get fixed -- management can't always know about every little thing all the time, and they can't fix what they don't know!

My computer programmer husband provided a lengthy explanation that I sort of took in but could never properly relay for why this could be. The actual reset number could possibly be 2 to the 21st power (2,097,152) and is probably hard-coded in and unlikely to change.

Yeah, I totally get that. Here's the thing, though: you used to be able to exceed that number until abut 18 months ago. Scores in the 3Ms weren't unknown. I feel that it was intentionally broken to disallow anyone from going above that number for whatever reason.
