Just received our CC postcard

It took exactly 20 days to reach us. It was posted marked there on the day we mailed it on CC. Came in a little bit 'worn looking', but was a nice surprise.

I don't think anyone besides us Disney Cruise "nuts" would understand the fun of sending a postcard to themselves! I'd never heard of that until I started reading these boards, but I can't wait to send myself a card from CC next summer!

We got ours today too. I am hoping the others got theirs also. I mailed them from CC on Nov. 8 and just today got them. It took 17 days for ours.

I did a brief description of our daily activities on it, so it's fun to read about it & remember back.

I listed it like this:

Sun., 11/2/03 - Today we....
Mon., 11/3 etc.

Our son turned 18 ON the ship so it's fun to have that listed on the pc & in our scrapbook, also.

What a Great Idea!!

I never thought to mail a postcard to myself. I only planned on buying a stamp for our scrapbook. I save everything and make up scrapbooks for my DD"s to look back at and remember their vacation. Now I have another momento.

our DD doesn't know it, but we mailed her a postcard from CC for her postcard (to go along with all the pictures she took LOL)
