So, we were able to go down a day early and hit the last day of Star Wars Weekends. YEA!!! So, my dinners I booked at the 90 day mark had to be re-done due to a shift of park days. Lost Crystal Palace (done it before) & Whispering Canyon Cafe (have not done). Was able to keep Boma, Tutto Italia, Spoodles, & O'hana dinner. Added Kona ( so looking forward to, never done!) & Hollywood & Vine (blah..but it is star wars wekkends last day..everything is gone)

So, what would u order or your favs from the above dinners, I know several are buffets..but still. Any pics would be great =) Also...Is there any chance Hollywood & Vine has improved??

#1 Boma. My favorite restaurant in WDW. I love everything there.

The only others that I've eaten at on your list are Spoodles and Boma.

Spoodles was okay but I wouldn't go again. The food was pretty good but uninspired and the atmosphere was not Disney enough. (felt like a typical italian place to me...which could be a good thing if you're not from jersey where almost every restaurant is italian??)...I'm also Spanish and there wasn't anything Spanish about it, which it partially claims to be.

I was also not impressed with Boma. Partially I think it's because we were really looking forward to it last year. We may have been expecting too much. My opinion of the food is that it was typical buffet stuff with a not very authentic tasting impersonation of African spices.

Mind you I didn't dislike either of these places. I love food and I liked the food at both, I'm just giving a very critical opinion.

Im interested to see if people really disagree with me on these two. I hope you have a wonderful trip.

Thanks for the reviews! We do seem to keep our expectations on the low side for a Disney restaurant though...that way when it's good, we can be pleasantly surprised! LOL! Both Spoodles and Boma will be new for us..so here's hoping!!! :goodvibes

Boma is our family favorite.

Press release on Spoodles:

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Chef Cat Cora and Disney are joining together to open an exciting new family dining restaurant at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. Kouzzina by Cat Cora will feature a menu of Mediterranean-style cuisine that pays tribute to the chef's Greek roots.

The restaurant, to be owned and operated by Disney, is scheduled to open by fall 2009 in the space currently occupied by Spoodles.

"I am pleased to welcome Cat Cora and her engaging new concept for Kouzzina to the Walt Disney World Resort," said Jay Rasulo, chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. "This collaboration between Cat and Disney represents a significant step in our ongoing commitment to offer unique culinary experiences and choices for our guests."
