Just placed my Garden Grocer order

I couldn't wait anymore - I had to do SOMETHING! So I placed my Garden Grocer order tonight

The one and only time that grocery shopping is not a complete chore!!!!

Do they charge your account immediately for your order or just keep it on file til they deliver do you know?

How does it work? Do they deliver groceries to you at the resort?? How cool! Will they bring vodka???

That was my question too ... can you have them deliver alcoholic beverages?
Won't have a rental car to go shopping and refuse to pay $6 for a bottle of beer?

I am curious as to how this works as well! I was wondering if there would be anywhere we could buy some milk and breakfast items!!

I ordered from them in 2006 and everything went great. They delivered on time and it was brought to my room. I did not order alcohol last time but will be in a few weeks! I was told that at the end of your order there is a comments box and you type in what it is you want (drink wise) and they will deliver that also. I think they contact you to tell you the price of the beverages. Good Luck! I'll let you know how it goes for me. Aug 26th-Sept 3rd

Garden Grocer will deliver alcohol, just put it in the comments section at the end. You need to fax them a copy of your ID so they can verify that you are of age (since they nay not be seeing you). Our groceries are going to be delivered to the resort before we get there, and I even called WL and they said they will keep it refridgerated overnight so we can get it first thing in the morning. (Our flight doesn't land until midnight - hopefully!)

We have never used Garden Grocer but we have used We Go Shop. Their service has been excellent! We were very specific on our order about what brands, sizes, etc. we wanted and everything was exactly what we wanted! But I'm curious if Garden Grocer is better, cheaper, etc. More information would be appreciated. We are already counting the days until our May 2009 trip! Thanks for sharing info.

I also put my order in a few days ago for our August trip. Second time using them and absolutely no problems the first time. If you put your order in early, you get the time frame you want. You can check out their prices on their website. Items are a bit overpriced - cannot compared them to our local supermarket but much less than the resorts and a bigger selection I think.
