Just picked up a cricut can't wait to use it!!

I just purchased a cricut last night and I can't wait to use it. I hope it isn't hard to learn how. It is the baby cricut. It came with the George font. I was looking at getting the Mickey and Friends. Is it easy to use?

It is easy to use, but please be sure you have adequate time to read the manual before you start, or at least as you go. My first time trying my baby bug was a disaster because I had other distractions (kids, thunderstorm) and I wasn't patient with myself.

Be aware that the mat may be super sticky at first, so use a heavier cardstock for your first practice cuts. I HIGHLY recommend using the Cricut spatula to take your cuts up off the mat. This greatly reduces the chances of tearing your cuts.

I use my Cricut all the time and I love it. I hope you have a blast with yours!
